She loves laser lights and if you feed her wet food from time to time, she'll be your best friend. How I came to currently have her - Her owner got cancer and is currently on hospice (they didn't have an option for this on the site, so I picked abandoned). If I didn't already have too many, her and Callie would both be staying with me. I need to re-home them ASAP due to my landlord.

Hello! My name is Acorn, and I'm a sweet 2-year-old Domestic Medium Hair weighing about 8 lbs. I was brought to the Rockwall Adoption Center after a kind citizen found me but was unable to continue caring for me. Now, I'm hoping to find a calm, loving home to call my own. I'm a gentle guy who would do best in a quiet, adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved. I haven't shared a home with other animals before, so that will be a new experience for me as I continue to adjust and grow more confident. I'm currently eating dry cat food and doing well with litter box training. My adoption fee is $50. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies and FVRCP vaccine, and FIV/Felv negative. If you're looking for a quiet companion with a soft heart and even softer fur, I'd love to meet you! All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Dottie and her brother Dash were found hiding all alone in the soffit of a home. Probably put there by their feral mom to keep them safe. They were rescued, the access hole was sealed and are now in a loving foster home. We'd love to see them adopted together but will consider adopting them separately if there is another cat/kitten in the home for her to play with. We've included a together photo and we offer a discount when adopting two or more! Dottie is 6 months old and is a typical happy and playful kitten. She'very smart and affectionate and has already learned to play fetch! And she has the cutest little milk mustache!!! In her foster home she lives with other cats but has not been exposed to dogs or children. But kittens usually adapt well to new experiences. She's spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. We adopt in the DFW only (within an hours drive from Terrell) as we deliver our pets to their new homes. A vet reference is recommended.
