You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Meet Tippy Toes! Tippy is a total cuddle bug who loves being carried around the house like a baby, especially if chin scratches are involved. He adores gentle head rubs, enjoys catnip, and rewards his people with loud purrs, sweet leg rubs, and nonstop affection. He’s incredibly social, confident, and friendly, not shy at all, and does wonderfully with kids. Rescued from a shelter at just 5 weeks old, Tippy was diagnosed with nerve damage in his left back leg, but that hasn’t slowed him down one bit. He does everything other kittens do, climbing, chasing, pouncing, and playing, just with a little extra flair. Beep is bonded to Tippy, and the two must be adopted together. They snuggle, play, and truly bring out the best in each other. Tippy provides constant love and comfort to Beep, and you’ll often find them curled up together, hugging during naps or sweetly grooming one another. Tippy is fully litter trained, eats both wet and dry food, and uses a smart feeder and water fountain like a pro. Because of his back leg and nerve injury, it’s important that Tippy maintains a healthy weight and is not overfed, as this helps reduce strain and supports his long-term mobility. One important note: Tippy is a darter and very curious, so adopters will need to be mindful around doors and ensure he stays safely indoors. Running outside could be dangerous for him due to his back leg.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214-454-9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com I am a gorgeous chocolate girl who absolutely loves people - there is nothing better than being cuddled and held! I am very outgoing and calm and get comfortable with new situations fairly quickly. I love to play with feather wands or pretty much anything I can chase. I am very quiet except for my loud rumbly purr when I am being petted. I would do best having a kitty companion as I am very social and like having company all of the time. Hint, hint: my sibling Nutella who lives in another foster home is also looking to adopt his new family. Can you imagine having a pair of sweet chocolate kittens in your home? It doesn't get any better than that!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214-454-9395 should you have any concerns or questions. She's a big lover of laps, and if she can't get one, she'll nest on your discarded clothing. Lorien is definitely playful, and will drop everything to chase a string toy around. Story
Meet Brownie. This gorgeous girl is a three-year-old, medium-haired tortoiseshell with the softest fur and the most soulful eyes. She’s a big, fluffy beauty who turns heads wherever she goes — but it’s her gentle heart that truly makes her special. She was adopted a couple of years ago but recently returned when she and the other cat in the home (her littermate) just couldn’t find harmony. Sometimes even family doesn’t mean “best fit,” and that’s okay — it simply helped us learn what she truly needs to thrive. She’s a shy, quiet soul who blossoms with patience. Once she feels safe, she shows her affection on her terms — sweet, calm companionship, soft purrs, and a steady presence by your side. She’s not demanding or loud, just beautifully content sharing space with someone who understands that trust takes time. This lovely girl would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can be the center of attention without competition. A calm household with older children would suit her well, as she appreciates gentle interactions and predictable routines. She has excellent litter box manners, is fully vetted, microchipped, and ready for her next chapter — one filled with kindness, understanding, and love. If you’re looking for a peaceful, devoted companion who will reward your patience with quiet affection and unwavering loyalty, this pretty tortie may be the one your heart has been waiting for.
