Story
Meet Duchess, a dignified ten-year-old senior shelter cat with a regal aura and a heart of gold. Adopted as a tiny kitten from PAWS, Duchess has known the warmth of a loving home since she was four months old, displaying impeccable house manners and a penchant for cozy corners. Despite her serene demeanor, Duchess found herself back in the shelter's care, her return shrouded in mystery after a stint in an Austin shelter before finding her way back to PAWS. Yet, her gentle nature remains unchanged, hinting that whatever led to her return was beyond her control. Duchess is a true lovebug, yearning for the familiar comfort of a home she once knew, where she can bask in the affection of her human companions. While Duchess thrives as the sole feline queen of her domain, her accommodating nature allows for peaceful coexistence with other cats, particularly those of a reserved disposition. She gracefully navigates social dynamics, preferring a serene environment where she can claim her own space while still appreciating the company of her feline counterparts. As she embarks on this new chapter, Duchess seeks a forever home where her gentle spirit will be cherished, her soft fur stroked, and her loyal heart embraced with unwavering love and understanding.

Story
BUTTER & SUSHI These sweet kitties love to do their best two-headed cat impression, snuggling up and purring. They both love attention and head scratches, very sweet natured. Sushi is definitely very playful! She loves to look out the window and gets excited about everything she can see out the window. Butter is more loving and prefers to just be pet and talked to. She spends most of the day napping in the sunshine. They are currently wearing their summer coats in south Texas, but they will become much fluffier as it cools off and they move to a cooler climate. Especially Sushi will be a black super floof. They are available for adoption together or separately into a home with another friendly kitty. Shyloh's quiet nature makes him a calming presence in any home.Appearance:Shyloh is a medium-haired kitten with a striking appearance. His fluffy fur is soft to the touch, adding to his charm. His coat may require regular grooming to keep it looking its best, but the effort is well worth it for this adorable feline companion.Ideal Home:Shyloh would thrive in a calm and patient household where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace. A family who understands his shy tendencies and is willing to provide him with the love and reassurance he needs would be ideal. Shyloh may do well with other pets, especially if they are gentle and easygoing, as they could help him feel more secure in his new surroundings. Additionally, a quiet environment with plenty of cozy spots for him to retreat to when feeling overwhelmed would be beneficial.Adoption Requirements:Shyloh's adopters should be willing to invest time and effort into helping him adjust to his new home.A commitment to providing Shyloh with plenty of love, attention, and patience as he continues to come out of his shell.Understanding that Shyloh may need time to adjust to new people and surroundings, and being willing to provide him with the space and support he needs during this transition.Providing a safe and enriching environment where Shyloh can explore and play at his own pace.Regular grooming to maintain Shyloh's medium-length fur and keep him looking his best.Overall, Shyloh is a gentle soul who is looking for a loving forever home where he can continue to blossom and thrive.
