But with time and gentle encouragement, I`ve discovered that human companionship is pretty nice! I`m still shy, and you might have to look for me, but when you do, I adore getting pets! Once I feel safe in my environment, my truly loving personality blossoms. I also enjoy the company of other kitties! Ashley is a lovely senior girl who just loves to lap sit or be next to you. She lost her home due to family changes, but we were also told she had long standing tummy troubles. Finally, we think we`ve come up with the right combination of foods for her. Things are `coming out` much more normal and she has gained some weight. Her food is a mixture of prescription and specialty food.

Verla is a gentle, quiet senior girl who loves attention. She is hyperthyroid so she takes a very inexpensive medication daily. She is very good about taking her pills in food.
