Story
Sweet and sassy! Tends to be a bit standoffish when meeting new people. Takes some time to earn her trust. Has a past history of living with other cats, but it is unknown how well she'd adjust to meeting new cats.

SINGLE ANIMAL HOME ONLY! Sassy! Very particular with interactions and people. Prefers interaction to be on her terms. Needs a home that is very calm in nature with 1-2 people, no other animals, not a lot of activity, and a home with a lot of patience, understanding, and a willingness to let her acclimate on her own terms in her own time.

Story
Duke is friendly and will “hang out” with you. He will sit next to you and keep company on the couch or on your desk while you work. He can’t be picked up or handled for very long, but loves being pet everywhere but his belly, legs, and paws. He will get antsy very quickly and will use his claws to escape if picked up. He is “floor cat” as he prefers his toys to be pulled around on the floor for chasing. He will play until he pants like a dog and is out of energy. He will chase after toys when you throw them, but won’t bring them back 😂. He’s not into catnip. Duke has some special needs to be aware of. He has a history of UTI’s and because of this is on a prescription urinary food. He has had two instances in the few years I have had him. As long as you stick to the diet, manage his weight, and do not give him treats, you should be able to keep it under control, but there is always the possibility of a recurrence.

Story
He is shy and tends to hide when strangers first come over. He sometimes will come out and sit as far away from guests as possible. Sometimes he surprises me and lets people pet him. He will not let you pick him up or handle him, and doesn’t really like being touched, especially on his head. He accepts pets on his back and butt. When he trusts you, you can slowly make your way to his head, and he will lean into some scratches under his chin. Loves playing with toys, and is what I call “air cat” because he prefers toys that are in the air such as ribbons, or toys on wires. He will also carry little mouse toys around and occasionally plays fetch. He LOVES treats, especially freeze dried shrimp. He goes absolutely nuts for shrimpy-time. Not into catnip. Excellent mouser and bug hunter. He loves my dog so I know he would be ok with a dog in the home. He would be fine with other cats as well, he’s very submissive. He would do best in a quiet home without small children.

Story
Jasmine and Tigger were surrendered from a farm on 6-22-22 with Mom Callie & her 5 kittens and Mom Grace and her one kitten .  They ALL have been ADOPTED! Jasmine and Tigger were very shy and unsocialized at first. They have always been in rooms at the shelter together and have always remained by each other's side. Tigger is very devoted to her.  He is always just watching. You can pick them up once they have trust in you... but they do not like to be held.  Both like to be petted. A volunteer went into their room and laid down on a bed. Tigger was right by her side watching Jasmine. Jasmine was snuggled up to her and couldn't get enough pets and lovings. They are both quiet cats and are extra cautious in new situations. They need to remain 'Best Buds' and adopted together into their new Forever Home with no children and no other cats. (Jasmine randomly 'wacks' other cats in her room  to keep them at a safe distance). They would be perfect for the person wanting 2 sweet loyal companions as you binge watch Netflix! To make an appointment to meet this delightful pair, please email felinecaninefriends.org. ##1429759##
