Story
From the owner: We've had Mitsu for 4 years. She only has 3 legs, but it doesnt really stop her or slow her down. We found her as a kitten and her paw was crushed, so the vet had to amputate it. She isn't really good with other animals because of it, it seems like she's always kind of on guard. With people she's sweet and cuddly once she knows you. She gets nervous when new people come to the house, but once they've been over a few times, she opens up and shows her sweet side. Needs someone gentle and patient with no other pets.

Story
Charlie is about 6 years old. A former roommate got him for her son when they were living here. About 3 years old, they moved out and couldn't have cats in their new place. I've been caring for him since! He loves to play with my dogs. It's pretty hilarious to watch because he doesn't back down and sometimes he initiates the play. He is very soft and sweet. He likes to go outside and roam. I have a fenced in backyard so it's never been an issue. He is REALLY fat! The former roommate fed him all the time, mostly with people food. I've been trying since to get his weight down with no progress. But hey, if you like fat cats, he's your match! He is fixed and doesn't have front claws. He does have the back ones. He is an avid snuggler too. If you're in a recliner, he will jump up and sit between your legs purring. He's very easy to love!

Despite his regal name, King George is a total sweetheart who adores attention and will melt your heart with his sweet meow. He`s a playful and cuddly companion ready to bring joy to his forever home. Story
Don`t let her fluff fool you. Blair is still a kitten with years of adventure and excitement ahead of her. Blair is a sweet girl who will give big purrs when being pet. She tends to be a more mild kitten who takes a cautious approach but will play once she has had time to settle in. Blaire loves to cuddle with her bonded companion Milton. We paired her up with Milton, an older cat who loves attention and is confident meeting new people and once they were together they became inseperable. Milton is teaching Blair how great humans are and she’s made great progress. These two sweethearts are a perfect matching tuxedo pair. Milton is on a life long diet of Royal Canin HP and a once daily medication for his allergies. Fill out an application to meet these two amazing cats! Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.- Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html)- Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions.- Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.

Story
Meet Nimbus, a sweet boy who is a bit of a scaredy cat. Nimbus came here to the shelter with two other cats and is quite timid in the shelter environment. The previous owners described Nimbus to prefer things on his own terms. He likes to watch cat tv and play with toys! Nimbus is playful and affectionate when he is comfortable, though he is not a huge fan of being picked up.Nimbus has been around children in his previous home and did well, though he will need a family that can be patient with him while he is adjusting. He lived with 2 other cats and seemed to really enjoy their company, so he would benefit from a cat friend in his home.· Affectionate boy who prefers things on his own terms· Previously did well in a home with respectful children· Likes the company of other catsMeet Nimbus at our shelter during public visiting hours (no appointment needed), Tues/Thurs/Fri 1-6pm or Sat 11am-3pm, or visit www.oahs.org/cat-adoption-process for more information about how to adopt. All adoptable cats from OAHS are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested for feline leukemia, litterbox trained and microchipped.
