Story
Boots arrived to the shelter as a stray and unfortunately we were unable to track down his current owners. When meeting Boots he may appear to be reserved. After giving him a moment to get to know you better he is very accepting of pets! He appreciates being talked to softly. Boots can usually be found curled up either in or under his cat bed. If you are hoping to say hi to him he is okay with being uncovered! Just keep in mind that he does best with slow movements. Boots has not been bothered by the other cats in the shelter and with slow introductions we anticipate him doing well with a nice friend. Boots is very sweet and we have loved the opportunity to get to know him better!

Story
Spike arrived to the shelter as a stray and was a little fearful when he first arrived, but has opened up so much since then! Spike has a spunky and playful personality. He loves all types of toys and kitty scratchers. Spike will also never turn down some good food! Since he did arrive to the shelter as a stray it is unknown if he has lived with other animals or children. He has not been bothered by the other cats in the shelter and may enjoy a friend to play with in his new home! We do believe that Spike would warm up to children, but he will need time top adapt to his new home. Spike has been very sweet and loves butt scratches.

Story
Beau and Binks are a bonded pair and should be adopted together. Binks is shy and is often comforted by Beau and Beau enjoying snuggling with Bink in their down time! Previous owners mentioned that they are not typically as accepting towards other animals. Neither kitty has been mean to other animals but why prefer to keep to themselves! Beau and Bink would be happiest in a mellow home. They have done well with meeting new people, but can be standoffish towards small children. Beau is more outgoing and despite being the older one he is more active! You may notice him scratching on their room door or hitting toys out from underneath to get your attention. He is typically at your feet asking to be petted. Binks is shy and mellow. He is usually perched in the sun or curled up in their bed! He also will hit toys out from under the cat door, but he is most comfortable with just playing with Beau. Binks has a sensitive soul and appreciates being talked to softly and petted gently. We do anticipate Binks feeling much more comfortable in a home!

Buzz and Jinx are a bonded pair and should be adopted together! They are always seen side by side and would be happiest with each other. Buzz and Jink are both friendly kitties who love attention. Jinx is a little more social and wants to be the center of attention! Buzz is quiet and is always happy for a gentle get. Buzz and Jinx have done well with children and fit that family lifestyle! They are said to do well with other cats, but have not lived with dogs. Slow introductions to new animals should be taken slowly! Buzz will pat around a house toy for a bit, but is usually seen snuggled up. We imagine him loving cat trees and high places where he can sit and people watch. Jinx loves all toys and is always playing with something! He can not wait to have more space to run around in. Buzz and Jinx are such good kitties and you would be fortunate to have them!

Story
Spice! Little soft 6 month old boy, he is sweet and gentle and so lovable. Spice came from a colony of cats and he is ready to get along with any feline who is nice to him. He's still just a kitten so he does love to play and romp around once he's used to new people and a new place. And he loves to get pets and scritches. This darling little guy is going to be the very best little buddy for a loving family. He will need a cat friend in his new home who will love him. He does have siblings who would be instant friends if you are interested in adopting two. He is also tolerant of gentle dogs. And since he has grown up with the freedom to be outside, he will need an indoor/outdoor home situation. He's in Wasilla. Call or text 720-563-7141

Story
When is it lucky to get sick? When you've been homeless outside and the nice people feed you but they don't bring you inside where it's warm and safe. For Charlie, getting sick may have saved his life! It certainly has made it much easier since the day he was taken inside. It took Charlie a minute to adjust and to get well, but he was friendly once he knew he was safe. Very friendly. He was obviously missing a home and family. He is friendly with other cats and likes he likes to play. He may be about 6 years old but he's high energy. He is so excited to be in a home that he gets suped up playing with toys or other playful cats and he can accidentally scratch. Never aggressively or purposely. But being safe and not being alone and hungry and scared out in the cold is so overwhelmingly joyful, he has to show it. Charlie is a mid-age adult, about 6 years old. He had a dental to take care of two broken teeth. It's not easy living out in the mean old world along. And he never wants to do that again. He wants, and deserves, a home with a loving family, hopefully a cat friend, and a nice outside area where he can play without worry that he can never be in a home with his loving family. In Wasilla. Story
Sushi came to us as a skittish stray kitty who had sought refuge from the cold winter near a crazy cat lady's doorstep. Lucky for her, the lady was up for the challenge. She trapped her and brought her in. Now, she is so happy to be safe and with other kitty friends. She is a diva who will allow sneaky pets in but they have to be to her specifications such as .1 seconds in length and when she is not paying attention. Other than that, she spends her time playing and grooming her kitty friends. She is great with gentle boy cats. If your kitty is lonely, consider this cutie! She will be an amazing companion and friend to your cat. And, she can be your spirit kitty! No human kiddos please. She is in Anc. Text 907.960.0096 to learn more. *ADOPT FOR ONLY $40*

Story
This solid hunk of burning love is ROCK STEADY! His name needs to be capitals because we aren't kidding about solid. Rock is quite a hefty boy. And he's blind. But it's hard to recognize it. Put a cat anywhere near his scent range and he can move as fast as a puma with the force of a bulldozer. He does not like other cats! Dogs, we're not sure. If a dog is in the path of a cat target, the dog is in trouble. Possible a mellow dog who knows that Rock is boss would be fine. With people, this boy is a loving maniac. He LOVES people. He loves to be held, to be pet, to be cuddled, to be with you. He was clearly the beloved boy of his person till they had to leave for medical treatment. Now he has to find a new human to give his all to. And when he turns his love on you, you will be the luckiest person in the world. Rock is about 12 years old, or could be a tad older. But don't expect some dried up old couch potato. Rock has still got what it takes to be significant. He still loves to go outside. His former owner took him out with them, or made sure to watch him while he was out. A safe yard with a good distinguishable perimeter would be perfect. He is in paradise sniffing out all the cool nature treasures and exploring the bushes. He has mad cat skills and if any rodent should be foolish enough to get within his range, Rock will take care of it. (Applies to cats too.) If you're looking for a unique character in a furry hunk'o'steel frame, please call or text 907 953-0333. He's in Anchorage.

Story
A special wonderful girl, this is Maria. You may remember that she was found outside of Homer, shot in the face and hip. Her jaw was totally shattered and her mouth is misshapen but Maria is amazing. Although she can't close her mouth and she does tend to drool, she has overcome all obstacles and is living her best life. Maria is a love! She loves to have a cat friend to play with. (A lot of cats is too much for her). Best with no dogs. But mid age kind children, that might be a must for her new home. She loves attention, the kind that hangs out with her and with play toys with her, and go outside with her while she explores the yard. She is not a lap cat or pick me up cat but she is full of the spirit of life and love. And she needs a settled family who is the same. She will make you happy. She is probably a couple years old, ready to set out in the world for a great family where she has all the things that bring joy--a cat buddy and playmate, kids that are kind, and a safe yard. If you are interested in this darling girl, please give us a call at 907 980-8898 MARIA HAS BEEN SPONSORED BY Kara McMahon AND CAN BE ADOPTED TO A LOVING FAMILY FOR $40!

Story
This is Sugar. She is as soft as cashmere. She is also quiet and shy but loves cuddles and belly rubs. Sugar spends most of her time cuddling with other kitties, especially her brother Spice. She is great with other cats and calm dogs and would the purrfect kitty friend for a lonely, loving cat. Sugar would do best in a relatively quiet, settled home with people who are willing to give this soft furball some time to adjust to a new home. She is about 6 months old and a sweetheart. She will require a feline friend in her new home as well as a safe outside area to enjoy the coming summer weather. Call or text 720-563-7141
