Habbie is a sweetheart of a lady with a heart of gold and affectionately nicknamed Gabby by her foster mom! She is inquisitive and likes to explore her surroundings with a curious but cautious nature. Give her some time, letting her make the first moves to come to you and she will soon be your best friend! Habbie is a total chow hound when it comes to her food! She just can’t get enough! She isn’t picky, she is just happy to have yummy snacks and meals. She loves other cats and is always wanting to play so a kitty friend in her new home is a must. We aren’t sure how she is with dogs or kids, but she might do okay with a mellow pup who respects her space, or a gentle child who would play with her. The feather toy, chasing balls, and rolling in catnip are her favorite things to do on these cold winter days! She would prefer a quieter home so older kids would be best. She is estimated to be 2-3 years old. Come summertime she will need a safe yard to enjoy basking in the sun and feeling the warm breeze blow across her as she hunts bugs! She is in Wasilla. Keiki is just so stinking sweet, as her foster Mom elegantly puts it! Her foster Mom may be a little partial but Keiki truly is the sweetest girl and ready to show her unbounded love to a new home. She warms up to new people fast and wastes no time demanding pets and attention. She loves cozy places to lay, preferably on you, but your bed will do while you’re away. She even likes to sleep under the covers! What’s better than snuggling under a comforter on these chilly nights? She is quite the talker especially when she wants love and can be quite loud and boisterous about it. Once you acknowledge her, she settles into a polite conversation instead and always seems to have something new to say. She does great with feline friendly dogs and warms up to them almost as fast as the humans. The cat companions took just a day or two longer, but she loves them and enjoys playing with them when the mood suits her. She sometimes prefers her space from them but would enjoy the companionship of another kitty in her new home who understands boundaries, but would like to play when they are both feeling energetic. She's a babe! Penny the cutie Pie is about 4 months old and as sweet as honey. A darling little tabby bundle of cuddles and fun. Penny was found outside with 2 brothers in this awful cold. At first she didn't know what to make of the warmth and people bustling around her making ooh and ahh sounds. But it was pretty sweet to have all that yummy food and warm bed and then pets and cuddles. Didn't take her long to get with the idea that this is the life! Now she's totally ready to be a part of a family that has humans to love and care for her and a kitty friend to be her sister or brother for a lifetime. She will need a kitty friend in her new home. Grady is a very dapper boy around 7 months old. He has a most beautiful shiny coat. He came from a feral colony cat and has taken some work to trust humans. He is still a bit skittish and will sometimes hiss but when you give him butt scratches, it will quickly turn into a purr. He will not do well with young kids or a really loud active house. He is looking for a calm patient house to let him continue to learn humans are ok and a friendly cat or two to learn from. A nice doggie is ok too. He does not like to be picked up very often but is getting better. He loves to play and sleep near your feet. I got Mocha when I lived in Washington with my parents, due to unfortunate events I moved to Alaska to be with my distant family I brought mocha with me and she has lived with me for 2 years since I’ve been here. I’ve loved her with all my heart and will miss her lots but I am a busy young adult that needs to travel for work and life in general and can’t stand leaving her alone for long periods of times. I just don’t want her to go to a shelter. She’s very calm and relaxed but will also get active quick. She basically reflects your activity like a dog. She has been introduced to both dogs and cats and behaved extremely impressively but never lived with either. She did live with a young child (<10)for over a year and never had a problem. I have spay, microchip documentation and she’s received 1 rabies shot. She was born April 16th, 2023. Willing to assist in a way and am not looking for any money for her. Just a caring home
