Yzma is a true torti. She can be smow to warm up to someone, but loving when she gets to know them. She is more vocal through meows, purring, and hissing. She may swat when she is ignored. But she never attacks. When she decides she likes you, she loves to be held like a baby and sleeping in your lap. Overall, she is a calm cat. She enjoys laying in the sun and watching wildlife. She has lived as an indoor cat, but her heart wants to be outdoors. As a result, she does try to escape occasionally. Yzma has no health concerns. She comes with a heated cat bed, food, and her carrier. Unfortunately, we are moving and recently had a baby. As a result, she is deserving of a home that can provide her more attention.

I was rescued from a pretty scary situation - I was found under a car, protecting my kittens from a group of dogs. I did my job and kept my babies safe, and now that they’re grown, I’m ready to find a forever home of my own!I am incredibly outgoing and love being around people. I`m looking for a cozy indoor-only life where I can be part of the family. Because of my past experience, it’s unknown how I’d feel about living with dogs, and I’d likely do best with a slow introduction to any other feline friends.I have a big personality and even more love to give. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday–Tuesday, 11am–5pm, and closed on Wednesdays. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is already spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for FREE). Each adoption also includes a free health exam, and a small bag of their kibble. Please bring a carrier for your new pet, or you can purchase a cardboard one for just $10 at the shelter (we don’t have plastic carriers to give away). We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend!

I`m Ivy and I am a very social outgoing cat who loves to talk. I don`t like other cats very much but I`m also not a fighter. I just stay away from them. I came into the shelter with a severe ear infection and after a lot of medicine and care, the veterinarians said my ear infection is all gone but my head might always tilt to the side. Because of my head tilt, I need an indoor only home. I`m a wonderfully friendly, sweet girl who can`t wait to find a new home of my own. I do have a medical release form to sign at the time of adoption so my new home understands what I`ve been through.
