Meet Elysia:Elysia is a shy girl who came to the BC SPCA as part of a large surrender of more than 200 cats in Northern British Columbia. As we take her through the steps of socialization we hope to see her personality emerge as she gets more comfortable with humans. She has been doing well in a foster home, she enjoys being petted on her own terms and enjoys sitting back and watching the world go by. Meet Hugo!A couple of things to know about Hugo... first of all every single stereotype you have ever heard about orange cats applies to him. Secondly Hugo has a lot to say, all the time, everyday. Normally we encourage that cats go to indoor only homes, but Hugo has made it VERY clear that an exception must be made for him as his heart yearns for the outdoors. Because of this we are looking for a home where he can be primarily an outdoor cat, as that is what he truly desires. He would likely be a great mouser! Hugo is the sweetest man, and loves all the attention from his human caretakers but would do best in a home with no other cats, although he has gotten along with dogs in the past.
