Story
Meet Key Lime Pie !Key Lime Pie came from a large colony of barn cats so is still adjusting to the unfamiliar luxury of living indoors, in the shelter environment. With the patience of staff and volunteers some anxiety medication Key Lime is beginning to feel for comfortable in this new environment and we are starting to see her personality shine through. She loves to come out to watch the staff and volunteers clean, and has a gentle curiosity about her that is a joy to watch. Although she isn't comfortable with touch yet, with the right patient home she will likely become more comfortable with people. Starting out in a small room of her new home would be ideal to help her adapt her new environment and feel safe. Coming from living with a large number of cats, Key Lime may appreciate living with a resident feline given proper gradual introductions. Meet Apple Pie!Apple Pie came from a large colony of barn cats so is still adjusting to the unfamiliar luxury of living indoors, in the shelter environment. With the patience of staff and volunteers some anxiety medication Apple Pie is beginning to feel more comfortable in this new environment and we are starting to see his personality shine through. The way to his heart is through food and catnip, and although he isn't quite comfortable with touch yet, with the right, patient adopter he will come out his shell. Although he can be a rather grumbly guy, we think deep down he's a very gentle soul as he is all talk and simply likely to audibly communicate his boundaries. Story
Meet Junior! This shy boy came to us from a home with many other cats and is still learning to trust people. He's nervous but shows great potential to blossom in the right environment. Junior loves to play and slink around, always curious about his surroundings and eager to explore new things. When it comes to other cats, Junior wants to be friends but his play style has been a little too rough for his buddies in care. If he were to live with another cat, they would need to be very confident and able to set boundaries. That said, Junior would likely do best as the only cat in the home, though it's not a total deal breaker. He's still getting used to people, but he's gaining confidence every day and will even allow a soft pet from time to time. With patience and a gentle approach, we know he'll continue to come out of his shell. The cats from his previous property arrived with ear mites. Junior has been treated, but he may need additional care in the future. If you're looking for a playful and curious companion and think Junior could be the right fit, we'd love to hear from you-submit your application today!
