Story
FOR ADOPTION: BINX is an incredibly sweet 6 month old female looking for a gentle and loving forever family. Binx was surrendered along with her momma (#NWASHoudini) and would love to find herself a home with mom but could also move into her own place. Binx is shy and cautious with new people and situations but once she knows you she absolutely loves to snuggle and be pet. She’s quite quick to come around to new friends as long as they are kind and come with treats to share. Binx is excellent with other cats of all ages and would thrive in a home with another bold and friendly cat to be her role model. She is also quite comfortable around calm and gentle dogs. Binx has had limited interactions with children so far but she is kind to them, she would prefer a home aged 5 plus as busy/loud toddlers can be overwhelming for her. Binx is very happy indoor only and can burn off all of her energy just playing in tunnels and checking out windowsills. She could also learn to love a secure catio. Binx is spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for a gentle love bug apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a ch ace to meet BINX #NWASBinx

Story
FOR ADOPTION: VALI is the gentlest one year old female you’re ever going to meet. This sweet girl was living the semi feral life and gave birth to a litter of kittens in what happened to be one of our board members yards. Once the cats were spotted plans were quickly made to catch them and get them tamed. Vali was caught fairly quickly after her daughters (#NWASVero and #NWASVega) and although frightened she has always been nothing but gentle. Slow and steady progress was made in winning over Vali’s trust and she is now a loving cat that throughly enjoys full body pets including tummy rubs. Vali is still fearful in new environments and will choose to find herself a safe hiding spot to observe her surroundings before venturing out. Even when she is nervous you can go to her and win her over with a tube treat or gentle head rub. Vali has been wonderful with all of the other cats she’s met so far. She loves to cuddle, groom and play with her daughters and has been quite happy to share space with the other shelter cats she’s met so far. Vali has had quite limited exposure to dogs but is open to the idea of sharing space with a very calm and gentle canine. Vali can still be quite overwhelmed and head into hiding when kids are playing near her. She would never hurt them but would be most comfortable in a home where kids just pop by to visit instead of being around full time. Vali is very happy indoor only and will do best continuing with that lifestyle due to her going into hiding every time she feels uncomfortable. She is spayed, tattooed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for a super gentle and loving cat apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet VALI #NWASVali #NWASVFamily

Story
Joy is exactly what her name promises: full-time sunshine in kitten form. She’s playful in a way that feels like she’s always celebrating something, even if it’s just a dust mite floating through the air. She loves toys, people, snacks, and basically anything that can be declared “fun.” Her purr starts the moment you pick her up, like she’s congratulating you on making an excellent life choice. Joy brings good vibes wherever she goes. With her sister, Stella, she will brighten up your days! Must adopt with Stella.

Story
Stella has a star-quality glow about her — soft, sweet, and a little dreamy. She adores soft blankets, cozy naps, and slow snuggles where she can tuck herself under your arm like a tiny furry comet. She’s playful, of course, but her real talent is creating peaceful little moments. Stella is the type of kitten who seems made of both stardust and velvet, ready to be someone’s gentle companion with her sister, Joy. Must adopt with Joy.

Story
Noelle may be the tiniest of the bunch, but she has the biggest sense of wonder. She approaches the world with wide-eyed curiosity, like everything is a brand-new holiday gift meant just for her. She loves gentle cuddles, tiny adventures, and curling up in the warmest corner she can find (bonus points if it’s your lap). Noelle is dainty, sweet, and a little magical — the kind of kitten who makes the room feel softer just by being in it. She adores her sister, Holly, so they are looking for a wonderful home together! Must adopt with Holly.

Story
Holly is the social butterfly and shoulder-rider extraordinaire. If there’s a person in the room, she wants to meet them. If there’s a shoulder within jumping distance, she wants to stand on it proudly like you’re her personal parade float. She’s outgoing, brave, and full of cheerful mischief — the kind of kitten who makes you laugh even when she’s "helping” you type emails with her paws. Holly is confident, affectionate, and absolutely delightful from every angle. She and Noelle are the best of friends and have to be adopted together. Must adopt with Noelle.
