Hal has a strong play drive and gets along with my small and medium sized dogs as well as other cats. He is best suited to a home that has a cat friendly dog. Meet Ghost. She's spicy. Really spicy. Ghost came to HSUV as a feral kitten. She has become much calmer, but is still skittish in her few months with her foster family. She loves dogs that love her back and will do best with a very cat friendly dog or dogs. She warms up to new humans and other cats very, very slowly. Overall, she really does think that she belongs with dogs. She snuggles and purrs as long as things are calm and on her terms. Ghost is not a fan of sudden moves or being held or hauled around. Because of that, a home with older or no kids is the best fit. She becomes more trusting and even a bit playful day by day and will need a patient adopter.

Wally is 1! I got him from the shelter last March. At that time, he had recently been rescued and was on antibiotics for a bad respiratory infection. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a chronic issue, so he can get sneezy at times. I give him immune boosters once or twice a week, and that really helps. The other thing about him is that he has stomatitis, and needs at least his back teeth removed to stop the painful sores in his mouth from appearing. He is a really good cat! Likes to stay inside most of the time, loves other cats, and gets along very well with people of all ages. He will let anyone rub his tummy- almost like he has no understanding of danger… haha. He is also OBSESSED with rubbing his face on yours and giving nips to your chin. He’s extremely social. I am looking to re-home him due to my mom. She was recently diagnosed with cancer. His dislike for the outdoors, mixed with his sneezes, and her compromised immune system has created a problem for her.
