Needs a home that she gets lots of attention and affection. Needs someone who is a homebody and would love to spend time with her. She enjoys being around her family

Bubba was found outside as a stray, he is incredibly bonded with Pepper. He is very loving, curious and playful, estimated to be around a year old. He is likely FELV+ with a missing left dewclaw that is healing well. He uses the litterbox but may need one with high sides due to spraying. I'm looking for someone who is able to keep both him and Pepper inside only, afford necessary vet bills, and keep their claws intact. He has not hissed at, growled at, bitten or scratched humans or other cats. He seems curious towards other cats, and can be skittish with fast movements and people standing or walking too close to him, especially with shoes on.

This big guy has been around other cats and dogs, loves people of all ages. But he wants to explore outside and as our old home made this possible our new home no longer does. We fear that we can’t keep him safe when outside and he is just sad being stuck inside. He is about 12-14 years old. He was found as a baby and he lost all his teeth. But he doesn’t like wet food.

Pepper is bonded with Bubba. She is estimated to be about 6 months old, she was found outside with Bubba. She has an occasional cough and is FELV+. She is very playful, purrs loud and loves meowing for attention. She melts in your lap and likes being held.Bubba and Pepper both enjoy climbing high spaces. I'm looking for someone who is able to keep them inside, sterilize them, give them their necessary shots, keep their claws intact and spay and neuter. They need space to run around and play, and high cat trees and other climbable areas are good. If you have a basement, a finished one would be ideal unless you are able to cat-proof things like the ceiling and little spaces they can squeeze into.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Leon was found in Brownsdale and brought to MCHS on 4/27/26 when no owner stepped forward to claim him.  He was an unneutered male.  Here at MCHS we have had him neutered and he received all of his vaccines.  He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  We are guessing Leon to be about a year old at the time of rescue.  He has a great personality and likes people!  We are looking for a responsible, indoor only home for this lover.  Adoption fee is $100 and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  A completed application is required before meeting--the form is at mchs.rescuegroups.org.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  ThanksVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 14, 2026, 4:43 pm
