Erin is an older female cat who was found abandoned by her owners in the middle of winter in a local rural community. Her pearl grey coat and bright green eyes make her an absolute stunner! She would love nothing more than to lay on someone’s chest and cuddle and purr all day long. The trauma of being abandoned outside has left a bit of a mark, and she’s quite afraid of other animals, making her fear known in deep, purely defensive growls. Erin has no aggression whatsoever, is extremely loving and gentle, just scared and needs an extra dose of quiet and TLC. She loves and trusts humans immediately, but she would do better in a home by herself, or with other older/very chill, laidback animals. This senior girl, like many older cats, has a bit of oil gland induced dandruff on her back, which makes her skin a bit sensitive. She prefers head scritches and pets, but allows gentle towelling of her back to remove the dandruff- she will warn you with more deep growls if you rub a bit too hard, but again, shows no actual aggression, and does not bite or scratch. She’s really just a big softie who wants nothing more than a safe and loving home where she can spend her golden years getting all the affection and yummy treats she deserves!
