Story
Meet 6 year old Gizmo (born approximately 8/14/2016). She was originally rescued by a kind lady as a very tiny kitten when she was only about 2.5 weeks old after a tornado hit the city of Wyoming. She was the size of a chipmunk and only weighed .14 pounds when she was first found. She was all alone without her mother or any other cats and she had not been weaned and her eyes appeared sightless. Her rescuer took her in and provided a good life for her for the last six years but circumstances have changed and she is now looking for a new home. Recently Gizmo’s family have noticed that she seems depressed and she spends some days just lying on the kitchen floor staring at a wall. They are hoping that a change in environment with a new family may provide her some joy and a fresh start for the next journey of her life. There are other cats in the home that may be causing her some anxiety. No one really knows exactly why she seems to be depressed but she has had some other cat friend losses throughout her short six years and just like people, she probably was grieving those losses. A new cat was brought in to the home in hopes that she would have a new companion but that cat wanted to be boss and he instead intimidated her and made her feel less than comfortable in her own home. She also is extremely overweight at 18.8 pounds which is a huge leap from when she was first rescued six years ago at only about 2 ounces. Her new family will need to help her lose weight by putting her on a diet and hopefully helping her to get some exercise. Recent bloodwork came back with all tests at normal levels which is great news but weight loss will be important to keep her future years healthy. In the past she used to be a lap cat and recently she has attempted to jump up onto her beloved family members’ lap. With her weight, it’s difficult for her to get around and jump so a new home with a set of pet steps would be a great help to her so she can still sit next to her family and be up higher and off the floor as many cats like to be. Because of her excessive weight, she will need some help keeping her rear end clean with some pet wipes and will most likely need an occasional sanitary trim from a vet. She also isn’t a huge fan of being brushed but hopefully she will gradually become more comfortable with that to help keep her coat shiny. Since she was separated from her cat family at such a young age, she didn’t learn to play like some cats but if her new family is willing to be patient and try new things with her, hopefully she will learn the joy of playing with a wand toy, a laser light, a catnip mouse and/or a ball. But even if she doesn’t learn to play, if she is able to get some more one on one attention, we are hopeful that her depression will diminish. Her favorite room in the home is the kitchen and she enjoys being in there when the family is working or eating but when the family members leave the kitchen she tends to just lay next to the wall or go to another room and lay on the floor or a scratching board. Are you willing to help Gizmo have a happy life once again in the comfort of a new home?

Story
Meet Kitty Jean the beauty queen from a movie scene. She is the one who loves wet food and treat puzzles, but there's nothing she loves more than boxes -- even if there are cozy kitty beds nearby. Her tortoiseshell coat is irresistible and she loves being brushed, she'll even purr when you trim her nails! She's a very well behaved, happy, chatty little lady who will greet you at the door as soon as you get home. Her foster says "Kitty Jean's interests are treats, being petted, treats, being brushed, treats, being held, treats, looking out the window, treats, watching Cat TV, treats, napping in sun or any comfy spot, treats, playing with her toy mice, and treats! Treats are the way to her heart, but she loves attention too! She's very social and doesn't seem to be timid in new situations. When I first brought her here to foster, she was out and about exploring right away. I live in a small apartment and she's been very happy with that, so she doesn't need a big home or large space! Kitty Jean has a couple of complaints about her current foster home. She hates the vacuum cleaner, and she is not a big fan of the air conditioning! If you too want to bask in the sun and purr the day away, Kitty Jean would be a great companion- inquire about her today!

Story
Meet Sparky! His foster mom describes him perfectly with two words: Paw-sitively HAPPY! He may even be the happiest cat we've ever met. He loves being brushed and playing with a feather wand, so much that he'll play all day if you let him. He is very chatty and would love to show you his old man meow. It's sure to make you laugh! When he's not playing, you can find him relaxing by a window and chatter at the birds. He also adores a good belly rub, so much that he will drool to show you how much he appreciates it! Meet Sparky today!

Story
Meet Christine, or as her foster family calls her, Chrissy! This loving calico lady has little white mittens, stunning green eyes, and a social personality to match. She's a wonderful talker, and is always ready to tell you about her day. Although she loves to play and run around, she's also happy to relax by the window and listen to the birds outside. Overall, she is a laid-back and happy lady who is always purring and ready to be petted. Your heart will be paw-sitively melted when you watch her eyes get super wide as she's playing, and as she runs back and forth between her favorite toys, pouncing on each one of them! And don't worry -- when she's tired out, she will come right back for attention. If Christine sounds like a great companion for you, inquire about her today!

Story
Meet Henry Wilson! Don't let his age mislead you... this guy has plenty of spunk! He loves cuddling, being around humans, and having a good chat to let you know what his wants and needs are for the day. In his old age, he enjoys lots of cat naps, a good breakfast, more cat naps, and the tastiest gourmet treats! This low maintenance guy much prefers a lazy day over an adventure, and doesn't need much to be content. If he has a companion, some yummy food, and a cozy place to curl up for the day, he's good to go. Inquire about Henry Wilson today!

Story
Meet Daki! This lovely lady will take you away with her goofy personality and irresistible green eyes. Although she was shy when she first came to us, we found the perfect remedy for that... other cats! You wouldn't expect it when you first meet her, but in no time her personality will blossom as she makes chirp noises and explores endlessly. Between her chirping and fondness of butt scratches she always makes her people smile. She absolutely LOVES catnip and you can often find her chasing toys, doing superman stretches, and napping in her favorite cozy hide-aways. More than anything, she loves snuggling with her kitty friends and starting to appreciate lovins from her people. Daki has grown fond of being petted, and will purr and roll around to show you how pleased she is. If you have a feline friend for Daki to cuddle and play with, and you're looking for a sweet kitty companion to help grow into a confident lady, Daki just might be the girl for you. Inquire about her today!

Story
2 female kittens. The white pawed one is 8 weeks and the tiger striped one is 7 weeks. Have only had them a day but they are using the litter box and eating. Have been dewormed. Need to re-home due to severe allergies that I wasn’t aware I had until I brought them home. They are both very sweet. Looking to keep them together if at all possible.
