Gene and his sister Rudy were strays in a neighborhood and were caught when they were about 3 months old. Born 3/27/2021. As with most cats, Gene is nosey and has been exploring the house when possible (as you can see from one of the pics). Mango is a the quiet one of her litter. She tends to sit back and wait to see what her siblings are up to before joining them. Berry is a sweet striped guy with white socks. He loves to play with wand toys and feathers. He still hasn't waiting to grow into his ears at even though he was born in late March. Berry has been neutered, has all age appropriate vaccines, tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He gets along with other cats and would do best in a home with at least one friendly cat. (He'd love to be adopted with one of his siblings, Mango ,Peach and Melon.) Berry hasn't met any dogs yet but we feel like he'd adjust well to a cat friendly dog or two. This is a courtesy listing and not affiliated with Desoto Animal Rescue Society. Please contact owner for information. Nixie was rescued from an oil drilling field in downtown Memphis. Once she was all cleaned up and given a clean bill of health from the vet, she has proven to be a little black ball of sunshine and an absolute cuddlebug!  She is 3.4 months old. I’m unable to house her anymore because my dorm has a strict “no pets” policy but I don’t want to leave her at a shelter.
