Story
Spoiled bottle baby who is confident he is a human child. 10/10 adorable. Cricket is a very affectionate "kid" who loves his foster siblings (cats & dog). He came to 9 Lives when he was about an hour old. He has been with his foster mom ever since. He is CONVINCED he is a human so if you're looking for the perfect little spoon (literally - under the blankets & everything) who likes to be held & doted on then Cricket is your guy!!! He is without a doubt a mama's boy.  Cricket does have a medical need that with proper diet, monitoring, & medication, can be efficiently managed long term. It's very straightforward, when he gets stressed & "flares", he gets a daily medication until things settle back down again in his little kitty world. He was tube fed as a baby (among other things) so he comes when called & happily takes his medication from a syringe. He would do best with another kitty/puppy sibling as well as a "mom" who is looking for a new shadow! For more information, please fill out an adoption application today! November 7, 2024, 11:04 am

Story
Amias is a big love bug who looks a little rough around the edges. He is FIV+ so he has a compromised immune system. This makes his eyes look rough & the Mississippi allergies & weather don't help! This loving puddle needs a foster home. If you can help, fill out an application online asap!November 7, 2024, 11:04 am

Story
B.C. may stand for "Black Cat," but his personality is anything but ordinary! This handsome, solid black boy was found as a stray at a manufacturing company, where he was initially thought to be feral. However, the moment he warmed up to people, he showed just how affectionate and sweet he truly is! He loves attention, enjoys being around people, and gets along well with other cats.   Unfortunately, life as a shop cat wasn’t safe for B.C. After sustaining an injury at the company, it became clear that he needed a more secure and loving environment. Now, he’s fully recovered and ready to find a home where he can thrive. He may have an eartip from his outdoor days, but that just adds to his charm! B.C. is looking for a family who will give him the love and security he deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who has overcome tough beginnings and is ready for a fresh start, B.C. is the perfect cat for you!April 19, 2025, 5:14 pm
