Story
Meet Kaloosh, a lover boy with a story that tugs at the heartstrings. Born and raised within the confines of a cozy mobile home, Kaloosh shared his first years with 3 siblings. However, life took an unexpected turn when his owner had to transition into a nursing home, leaving Kaloosh & his siblings behind. 9 Lives came in & got them out of the degrading house & got everyone neutered & treated & UTD on vaccinations. He then went to a foster home to help him come out of his shell. Below is what his foster family has to say.  My name is Kaloosh, but I’m more affectionately known as Kal. I an the epitome of a "Gentle Giant". While I may be a big boy, my heart is even bigger! I am friends with cats & dogs & let my foster kitten “siblings” climb all over me. I guess I'm just a big teddy bear. I am a lap cat & have gotten quite accustomed to the finer things in life such as sleeping with my foster family or burrowing under a nice blanket. I am very affectionate, loyal & am the perfect cat for someone looking for a big cuddly pet to help keep them warm this winter. My foster mom says I’m a Velcro kitty & am just very go with the flow, whatever that means. Apply today to foster to adopt me - I really don’t want to go to PetSmart because that place stresses me out! November 26, 2023, 10:33 pm

Story
Louie is a retired Tom Cat who has spent all of his life outside. He has come to that age now where he prefers to be indoors only, on a soft pillow, preferably on a window sill. At 9 Lives Cat Rescue we have monitored him now for several months and he has shown no aggression, even no interest at all, towards other cats. He just wants to watch the world for the little remaining time he has left. Louie has almost no teeth left in his mouth and prefers soft/ canned food but will also eat the occasional dry food. He is a lap cat and likes being petted, he loves the occasional conversation where he remains a silent listener. If he is approached too quickly though he is usually spooked and will walk away. We at 9 Lives Cat Rescue are looking for a home for him where he can spend his few remaining years at a home that will love him. Not really surprising, but he tested positive for FIV. At 9 Lives Cat Rescue we believe he would be ok in a household as a single cat, with other cats that are laid back like him. Story
Yiannis has a slightly deformed right hind leg. He and his siblings were found at the side of the road, obviously dumped as he and his siblings are so sweet with people. The leg deformity  doesn't stop him from running and playing like any other cat. He is quiet fast but he cannot jump very well. His leg was kept in a cast for a few weeks to straighten his leg a little. It has improved it but it will never be a 'perfect leg'. Does he need one? We think he is happy as can be the way he is, he has a great quality of life. Apply here https://linktr.ee/9lcroxmsNovember 26, 2023, 10:33 pm

Story
Wildling, a one-year-old, gentle soul, embodies the true spirit of resilience. This beautiful orange tabby, adorned with a mesmerizing swirly pattern, was discovered in a dire state, unable to walk, likely the victim of a tragic encounter with a car. With the power of medical care and tender loving care (TLC), Wildling defied the odds and made a remarkable recovery. Now, she thrives as a loving, affectionate companion, a testament to her indomitable spirit. Wildling's gentle nature extends to her interactions with both cats and people, making her an ideal addition to any family seeking a furry friend to cherish.November 26, 2023, 10:33 pm
