Story
Peaches “The Boy with 2 Back Toes” Peaches came to us through a lady here in Sedalia who found Peaches on her property. This very kind lady brought the kitty to us in hopes of finding a very loving home for him. Peaches was born about May 6, 2025. He is a classic soft Orange Tabby with very striking markings and beautiful modeled highlights. He is a beautiful boy with a charming personality. Peaches is currently living with our president in her home in Southwest Sedalia with several other cats. They all get along well and test each other’s patience with their interest in teasing and playing. They are a bundle of energy and love their life. They sleep soundly thru the night so they can play hard through the day. Peaches loves people and being cuddled. He loves to tuck her head under your chin and nap there. He loves both wet and dry food, and of course kitty treats! He will grow up to be medium sized kitty judging from his present size. He has a full, rich medium length coat and purrfect soft Tabby design. His coat is incredibly soft and lush. Peaches would be a wonderful Pal for you and your family. In spite of his unknown beginning He needs to an indoor kitty only. He does not know the perils of the wild. He has been indoors since joining my foster family. He is in excellent health. He has been fully vet’d which includes, spaying, all kitten shots, worming, fleaing and the implanting of a micro identity chip. He is fully litter box trained. Peaches is ready to join your family. I would very much enjoy discussing him with you. If you would like to visit Peaches I can arrange that with you at a time that fits your schedule. Peaches would be a wonderful addition to your family. He will easily get along with your other furry Pals after their upbringing in their present foster environment. Should you wish to proceed with adoption you can download a copy of our Adoption Application at our Blog Page. Here is a link to that site. https://petslive.wixsite.com/animalfair After completing the Application please send a scanned copy of the form by email or picture from your smart phone to me at petslive@iland.net or to my phone at 660-826-5680. This will begin the short adoption process. I will be back to you right away to discuss the adoption. The adoption fee for Peaches is $105.00. Should you wish to adopt Peaches and any of his kitten play mates we have special discount pricing for that. The adoption fee goes to cover a portion of their veterinary expense. Thanks for looking! I hope to hear from you. Nancy Curtiss, President Animal F.A.I.R. Story
Buzz Cat Needs a New Home… Buzz Cat is 6 years old this August. He is fixed and his front claws are declawed. When we first got him he got along well with our other cat that we adopted at the same time. When the two dogs came along, things changed. He did not get along well with the dogs and never adjusted to their presence. Our other cat, Woody, adjusted well to him and plays with him when he wants too. Buzz has become increasingly scared of not only the dogs, but of people. He spends all day hiding from the dogs, the other cat and all people, only coming out at night when everyone is asleep. He is just not as happy as he should be here with us. We continue to try and bond with him, however because he infrequently allows those attempts we have not succeeded. We'd like him to go to a good home where he can get the attention he deserves. He would do best in a household where there is only one pet. He currently lives with us in Pleasant Hill, MO. We have tried to rehome him for a while, but everybody who contacted us wanted to make him an inside/outside cat. We are not comfortable with that as he doesn't have front claws and is not familiar with the wild. Buzz Cat is and can be a very loving, affectionate kitty. He has an endearing personality making him quite adorable. He plays a little and is self-assured. Buzz Cat is in excellent health, has a very big appetite for dry and canned food, of course loves cat treats of all kinds. He is a wonderful guy with a sweet personality. He has been fully Vet’d, which includes testing for disease, neutering, receipt of all his shots and worming He is fully litter box trained. Buzz Cat would be a wonderful addition to your family. As a mature cat needing a special home there is no adoption fee for him. Please call or email me to discuss the possibilities. If you would like to visit Buzz Cat please call and I can arrange that with you. Should you have specific questions or I can be of assistance in any regard please feel free to call me directly. My contact information is shown below. Thanks for looking! Story
Billie the Kid is a handsome sleek short-haired tuxedo. It has taken a long time, but Billie has finally learned that being patted feels wonderful. After a few months, he now goes to his fosters for attention. He does not like being pick up or held, but will happily sit or lay near you for pats. The best way to gain his trust is with treats! He loves playing & cuddling with other cats both young & old. He also loves the laser pointer & turbo scratcher. Billie needs a very special adopter that will give him plenty of time to adjust. He has not been around dogs but may get along well with a very chill kitty-friendly doggie, if introduced properly. He is litter box trained, current on appropriate vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, dewormed and on flea prevention.August 13, 2025, 4:04 pm

Cinder is a big-hearted, 14-pound gentleman with a rugged past and a soft soul. With his mellow temperament and affectionate nature, Cinder is the perfect cuddle companion who’s happiest lounging by your side or basking in a sunny window. Despite his tough-guy looks, Cinder is a total sweetheart who adores people, purrs like a motor when he’s happy, and gives slow blinks that melt your heart. He’s got stories to tell and plenty of love left to give — all he needs now is a forever home to call his own. Ready to give this charming retired street cat the soft landing he deserves?
