Interested in adopting a kitten or two? A few addition details about adopting a kitten from HSWM:- The adoption fee for kittens (8-20 weeks old) is $150. -Kittens adoptions are a "Buy one get one free" deal. We encourage adopters to adopt two kittens because they do so well in pairs! - All kittens will come with at least their first dose of the FVRCP vaccine. This is a series of vaccines and all kittens under 20 weeks/5 months of age will require booster vaccines to ensure they are fully protected. Once they have completed the series, this becomes an annual vaccine.-Kittens will also receive at least an initial round of dewormer.-Kittens need to be at least 12 weeks of age to receive a Rabies vaccine. If a kitten is too young to receive this vaccine, adopters will be sent with a $15 vaccine voucher that can be taken to a primary veterinarian. This is included in the adoption fee.-All kittens will be microchipped prior to adoption, and we register that microchip when we process an adoption.-All kittens will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Interested in learning more?Stop by the shelter to visit during any of our open hours! We are open Wednesday-Sunday from 1-6pm.You can also give us a call at 406-549-3934 or email paws@myhswm.org with any additional questions!
