Story
Glenda is a beautiful 4-year-old torbie—a unique mix of tabby and tortoiseshell—with a personality as special as her coat. She’s more of a “roommate” cat than a lap cat, enjoying her independence while still appreciating gentle affection on her terms. Glenda will happily accept pets but will politely let you know when she’s had enough. She came to us as a stray, so we don’t have a history of how she does with other cats, dogs, or kids. From what we’ve seen, she seems to prefer a calm, quiet home without other pets or young children. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-maintenance companion who values personal space, Glenda might be the perfect match for you! Glenda is available to meet at Petco!

Story
Meet Binx Binx is a five-year-old female who’s mastered the art of being your sweetest shadow. She’s social, affectionate, and loves being near people—whether curled up beside you, chirping for attention, or snoozing through a lazy afternoon. She’s the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home. Binx has Feline Leukemia Virus (FELV), which means her immune system needs extra care. FELV does not affect humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets. With good nutrition, regular vet visits, and a calm home, FELV+ cats can live happy, comfortable lives—sometimes for many years. Binx needs to be indoor only, either no other cats or FELV+ housemates, a calm, low-stress environment, proactive vet care and good nutrition. The most important? Plenty of love and cozy spots to nap Binx is affectionate, resilient, and ready to be someone’s heart cat. Adopting a FELV+ kitty is an act of kindness that truly changes a life—and she’ll repay you with companionship, gratitude, and endless purrs. If you’re looking to give a deserving cat a safe, loving home, Binx is waiting with an open heart.

Story
Marty is a gentle soul with a soft gray-and-white coat and the sweetest eyes. He’s shy at first and prefers quiet spaces where he can feel safe. Marty truly blossoms when he has another calm, confident cat to lean on—he takes comfort in their presence and feels more secure when he can share their vibe. He’s not a people-focused cat, but with patience and understanding, he will allow gentle interaction and even enjoy quiet companionship. His ideal home is calm, low-stress, and includes a feline friend who can help him feel grounded. What Marty Needs: A calm, indoor-only home with another confident cat, patience and cozy spaces to retreat and feel secure Marty is a sensitive, soft-hearted little guy who just needs the right environment to thrive. If you believe in creating a peaceful space and understand the beauty of a cat-to-cat bond, Marty could be the perfect addition to your home.

Story
Comanche is the queen of side-eye. She is around a year and a half. She’s a shy little lady who prefers to keep her distance and silently judge your life choices. Don’t worry—she won’t attack if you pick her up, but she’ll definitely make you feel like you’ve committed a crime against cat-kind. She came to us as a stray and has perfected the art of the “miserable glare.” If you’re looking for a cat who will never sugarcoat her feelings, Comanche is your girl. She’s low-maintenance, independent, and will keep you humble every single day. Adopt Comanche and experience the joy of being silently roasted by your own pet.

Story
Feeney came to CVHS with her litter of kittens (who have all been adopted) when her owners were unable to care for them. She is a sweet girl who loves attention but also likes her independence. In her prior home she was used to the indoor/outdoor lifestyle and enjoyed hunting. She has experience living with young children and felines and did well with them. Due to Feeney`s personality we feel she may be just fine with a cat savvy-canine with a slow introduction.
