This cat is part of our shelter outreach program where we take pets from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. FIV/Felv negative Meet Siri Siri came to us from an overcrowded NJ shelter with her two babies, Bixby and Alexa. She was a devoted mama—loving, protective, and patient—and her little ones have since been adopted into happy homes. Now it’s Siri’s turn. This 5-year-old girl has had a tough life—she likely spent time on the streets before landing in the shelter system. Because of that, she’s still learning to trust. Shelter life has been especially hard on her. She’s struggling in the busy environment and needs a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe. Siri isn’t the cat who will run up to you for attention on day one—but with time, patience, and love, we believe she’ll blossom. She gave her babies the best start in life. Luna & Shadow – 6-year-old bonded sisters (must be adopted together) Luna and Shadow are bonded 6-year-old sisters who arrived at our shelter just before Christmas when their family had to move to a home that did not allow pets. Their owners were devastated to give them up, and the transition was difficult for the girls initially. After a short adjustment period, their loving and affectionate personalities have truly emerged. Shadow is the cuddly one of the pair—loyal, playful, and a true lap cat who enjoys being close and wrapping her paws around you while receiving belly rubs. Luna is the confident alpha sister who is equally loving and playful, known for her affectionate habit of licking and laying on top of her person’s head.
