Meli and Chaos are a bonded pair of brothers looking for their forever home. They are 10 months old, neutered, chipped and up to date on their vaccines. Unfortunately, their current family who has had them for 7 months must rehome them because one of the children is allergic to them and the allergy treatment is not working. This is what the family has to say about them... "They are the sweetest brothers. They really are good, beautiful, healthy boys. I have had cats throughout my life since childhood and these guys are some of the most playful and affectionate babies I have had. Meli is the orange and cream mackerel striped tabby. He is a big sweetheart and can be handled without issue, tolerates most things without a flinch, happy-go-lucky. He greets everyone that comes in with a rub on the leg and a quiet meow. When he wants attention he lets you know very sweetly by patting you or rubbing you or even just jumping on you and laying right on top of you. He is a pretty funny guy. Chaos is a black on black mackerel striped tabby with a little white tuff on his chest and lower belly. Chaos will need more time to adjust to new people, especially men and will just stick with Meli until he feels safe .He is a headbutter and will sleep right on you for hours. He is really affectionate. He is also the more curious of the two and will try to get into every nook and cranny. They are both food motivated. They are fond of feather toys and catnip. They both know their name and will come when called and respond to it. They will tolerate children, but most likely over the age of 8. My girls are 11 and 14 and the cats have no issues cuddling with them and their friends that come over. They don't mind being picked up but don't really like being grabbed at or held up for very long. They will lay on you or sit in your lap and love to be petted and rubbed and even brushed. Our neighbor has a cat that they seem to get along fine so a home with other cats may be possible with a slow introduction. I am not sure how they would be with dogs. We have a ton of toys and bedding and dishes for them and two carriers we are happy to give to their new owners as well."
