This kitten has just arrived! They have come to us on transport from a shelter partner, were found as stray, or surrendered to our care. When kittens arrive to us we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, how they are with handling, or how much socialization with humans/animals they have received. Kittens require a significant amount of patience and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a kitten is a critical time to improve socialization and help your kitten become confident. Meet Oreo Oreo and Michy are our black and white girly pops! Oreo's the younger one at just over five months and Michy is the older sister at almost eleven months. These two girlies were super shy when they first came to HAP after being found in a local neighborhood. While they still are nervous when first meeting new people, they've really started to open up with a few trusted folks. Oreo is the still more reserved, shy one and Michy is starting to be the more playful and silly one between the two. While we're still working on building up their trust and confidence so we can get to know them better, one thing we do know for certain is these girlies loooovvveee their Churus - or really any snack but Churus especially!
