Story
Rodger is FIV+. He can be around other cat-friendly cats as FIV is not as contagious as they once thought. In fact, he lives with several other cats.Rodger was born on 5/1/19 and is a brown tabby from Roswell. His favorite past-times are looking out windows, sitting on window sills, exploring his foster home, and playing. He's a teen boy kitty, so he has a good amount of energy and likes to play with ping pong balls, pole toys, soft toys, and kick toys. He can be picked up (properly of course). He likes to be brushed and has learned to use a cardboard scratcher, not counter jump (NO and finger snap gets him down), and nap on my bed.Because Rodger is FIV+, he needs to be an indoor kitty. He eats both dry and wet food (not mixed together), and has a good appetite. A high-quality food will keep his coat in good condition.Though he should start in a “safe room”, Rodger does well with other cats. When hissed at, he walks away. He likes to box and wrestle with other kitties. He wanders around with a fast pace saying “ggrrrrrr” (so cute!) and sits contentedly on his side between rounds of exploring. He would do best with another kitty of similar age and/or a human who enjoys playing with him.Rodger is current on all shots, neutered and micro-chipped.Rodger’s approximate DOB: 5/1/19 ##1458512##

Story
Walter or Wally as we like to call him is a laid-back kind of guy. He is around a year old but acts much older. That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t like to play, because he loves to play with the other cats his age in his foster home. He just knows how to relax and enjoy life when he is done playing. He is quiet and will sit on the couch with his foster mom, but he isn’t high maintenance, nor does he need a lot of attention. He gets along with the cats in his foster home and is also good with dogs. Walter is litter box trained, up to date on shots, and microchipped. He would not be suited for a home with young children.FeLV/ FIV negativeLitter box trainedUp to date on shotsMicrochippedNo kids under the age of 8 ##1458511##

Story
Minnie and her older brother, Mickey, were rescued from the Roswell shelter on their last day, where they shared a cage at the Roswell shelter.  They were adopted together and then returned when their owner went into assisted living.  They were not terribly bonded and so are available separately. Minnie really enjoys playing with toys on a stick and toys she can chew and bat around.  Minnie is all black except for a white spot on her chest and on her abdomen.  Minnie is a sweet cat who likes to check in with her person/people several times a day and early in the morning.  She is not a lap cat but LOVES attention and head rubs and scratches.  She is very personable!   She would do better in a home with another cat to play with, as she is starting to socialize with the other cats in her current foster home and likes company.  She would not do well in a home with very young children or a very dominant cat, as she tends to be a bit cautious.  Minnie currently lives in a home with other cats and cat friendly dogs.  She will make a wonderful companion for someone and knows her name.  With the proper introduction, she should do well in your home. ##1471926##

Story
This is Miss Kitty.  We just rescued her from the Rio Rancho shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized with only days to live.  She is 11 years old and seemed like she was fine with the other cats around her.  She is very sweet.  We do not know a lot about her at this time as we just got her, but she seems like she would be a sweet addition to a family.  The important thing is that she is safe, but she needs her furrever home.  Can you be hers? ##1831075##

Hallie is a sweet cat, but doesn't get along well with other pets. She would do well being the only pet in your home, because she loves getting attention from you! I'm very sorry to let her go and will miss her, but it just wasn't the right fit for her and our other pets.
