Story
I just wanna be me….well, don’t we all? Hi, I’m The G….my foster mom called me Baby Girl when I first arrived. I’m still a goof- I love to play with soft toys and pole toys. Wrestling play with other kitties is a blast!I was rescued from the Valencia County shelter. I’m a survivor - I ain’t gonna give up! Foster mom says I’ve come a long way. At first, I was SO scared I hid underneath the cabinets! She helped me feel safe by talking to me and not worrying that I’d retreat when I needed to. I gained confidence through her acceptance and I’ve never looked back. Now I circle her legs, arch my back for pets, allow brushing, and ask for pets and food.I enjoy the top of the cat tree or in a hidey bed when I’m resting. I like skritches on the sides of my face and pets on my head and will request them once I get to know you. I’m a little kitty, with short, thick fur, big yellow-green eyes, and tabby stripes in two tones. I’m about a year and a half old. I get along with other cats (though foster mom says gradual introductions are best) and I’m indoor only. If you’re looking for cute, playful, quiet, undemanding, and a bit independent, we’d be great friends. We can both be ourselves! The G was born on May 2020. I am spayed, up to date on my shots and microchipped. I have also tested negative for FeLV/FIV. ##1458507##

Story
Rodger is FIV+. He can be around other cat-friendly cats as FIV is not as contagious as they once thought. In fact, he lives with several other cats.Rodger was born on 5/1/19 and is a brown tabby from Roswell. His favorite past-times are looking out windows, sitting on window sills, exploring his foster home, and playing. He's a teen boy kitty, so he has a good amount of energy and likes to play with ping pong balls, pole toys, soft toys, and kick toys. He can be picked up (properly of course). He likes to be brushed and has learned to use a cardboard scratcher, not counter jump (NO and finger snap gets him down), and nap on my bed.Because Rodger is FIV+, he needs to be an indoor kitty. He eats both dry and wet food (not mixed together), and has a good appetite. A high-quality food will keep his coat in good condition.Though he should start in a “safe room”, Rodger does well with other cats. When hissed at, he walks away. He likes to box and wrestle with other kitties. He wanders around with a fast pace saying “ggrrrrrr” (so cute!) and sits contentedly on his side between rounds of exploring. He would do best with another kitty of similar age and/or a human who enjoys playing with him.Rodger is current on all shots, neutered and micro-chipped.Rodger’s approximate DOB: 5/1/19 ##1458512##

Story
Lilu was rescued from the Valencia County shelter when the shelter was at capacity.  She was at risk for euthanasia so we were glad that we got her when we did.  The shelter thought she was only 4 years old, but our vet says she was born 11/7/17. Lilu takes a while to warm up to people and she is very independent.  She is not a lap cat and prefers to live life on her terms.  She is friendly and playful when she wants to be.  She is quiet and would be good company for a senior citizen who likes to have a cat in the house but doesn’t want one that is demanding of your time. She has been around other cats and was tolerant of the cats in the home.  She would be ok as the only cat or in a home with a mellow cat who won’t bother her.  She is not going to be another cat’s best friend nor will she sleep with them, as she likes to be by herself. Lilu also has had kidney stones and needs to be on the prescription diet C/D or another urinary tract diet to keep her from getting kidney stones again.  Lilu currently lives in a foster home.  If you have any questions about Lilu, please contact us so we can get you in touch with her foster mom.   Lilu is up to date on her shots, microchipped and is spayed. ##1491002##
