Story
Hello, I'm Purrcy. I had a very loving home with my person but now she isn't able to take care of me. She made sure I got to the safety of Desert Haven and now I'm in search of my second and final loving home. I am very playful and active. I am an excellent user of my litter box. I have beautiful manners and I'm gentle and sweet. I fall head over heels in love with my family so be ready for the big personality and big love that big orange tabby cats bring to your life! I get a little shy when company comes over and hide. If they stay long enough then I will investigate their worthiness to see if I want to play with them. I usually do, but it does take me a few days to gain comfort. Really, I have big loving eyes for my family and am just super loyal! I am 7 years old and ready to become the ginger that brings the spice to your life! Story
Meet Puddy, a mini black puma. Puddy enjoys spending her days hanging out with many of the cats of the Cool Cat Neighborhood, especially Alex and Feather. It can take Puddy some time to warm up to her human friends, but when she does you've gained a wonderful friendship. When she comes up to you to say things like 'hello' and 'I love you', she says it with the softest of meows. It's almost like a little puff of air with a hint of meow. Petsies are her favorite, she especially enjoys butt and head scratches. She'll also take treats directly from your hand and even give you licks aka kisses! Schedule an appointment today to meet Puddy! Message us today right here on Petfinder, or text/call 575-740-0643, e-mail DHanimalrescue@gmail.com! We will coordinate with you to find the PURR-fect date and time.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 28, 2024, 12:37 pm

Story
Hi there, my name is Bubby. I'm a four year old girl who is a tortie / siamese mix with an extreme need for cuddling. There is no cat who wants petting more than me! I am a true shoulder cat and I've been known to jump on people's backs so I can sit on their shoulder from time to time. I'm sweet, very sweet and tender. I am a gentle girl and I want to cuddle as much as you will allow me to. I show my love by pushing my face into things and headbutting them so be aware it's normal for me to sit in your lap and push my head into your armpit. For fun! Ha ha ha!I am a very warm and loving kitty. I like sitting on you in strange ways and I like the sound of crinkling  such as playing with cardboard boxes and paper because they make great noises. However I don't like unexpected surprises or loud noises. I'm a sensitive and deeply affectionate feline. My litter-mate is Fish and he's more confident than me in general so he takes care of me. He's a great brother. I'm a great sister. We will make a fabulous pair! Story
This cat is black beauty Inkspot! Inkspot has made huge strides in gaining confidence around her fellow human friends. She roams around comfortably while people are visiting and she even allows treats to be set right in front of her! Inkspot was found by a homeowner as a stray living outside on her property. The home owner gave her the name Inkspot and fed her for a few years while Inkspot stayed around her property. After a few years, the homeowner finally was able to get Inkspot into a trap and she brought her to Desert Haven for safety and love and care. Once at Desert Haven she got all the care she had been needing. Inkspot had to have surgery to amputate her tail due to a severe infection. She’s now feeling better than ever! Given the nature of the surgery Inkspot is now on nerve pain medication and will need treatment her entire life to ensure she’s living the most comfortable life possible. Inkspot lives at Desert Haven now and eventually may be ready to have the home she deserves. Let's cheer her on!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 28, 2024, 12:37 pm

Story
This is one of 3 kittens that were born outside. He's very shy but I've been working with him and he comes for food & treats now. He might do better with one of his brothers if you can take 2. He's a beautiful little cat. It's getting cold and he deserves a warm home and someone to love him. He's somewhere between 14 & 16 wks I think. He needs someone with patience to get him used to a house and learn to trust, but it shouldn't take long, he's very sweet.
