Story
Meet Bernie, a resilient kitten with a heartwarming story. Bernie comes from a litter born to a cat rescued from a hoarding situation in the Rochester area. Despite facing tough odds, Bernie and his sister persevered. Bernie, however, has Cerebral Hyperplasia, also known as Wobbly Kitten Syndrome, which gives him an adorable but unique gait & minor balance challenges. Additionally, Bernie is visually impaired, but this doesn't dampen his spirit. Although he can only see minimally within a limited range, Bernie remains incredibly active and playful. He adores his favorite toys & treats, and he's as sweet & docile as can be. Bernie may "talk" a bit when he's searching for his human or feline companions. He would thrive in a patient & loving home environment, ideally in a smaller space where he can navigate by scent and touch. Having someone around often or a playful cat friend would be fantastic for Bernie's happiness & well-being. Are you ready to open your heart & home to this cutie?

Story
Hello, my name is Kiwi. I was born on February 19th at 6 AM, and I'm very sociable and enjoy playing with everyone. I'm on a Hills Science wet food diet currently. I need to find Kiwi a new home because I'm moving to Georgia from New York State. Kiwi is adorable, with green eyes, as you can see in the photos, and you'll fall in love with him when you meet him. I will include his favorite toys for the right family that adopts him. Additionally, Kiwi will be up-to-date on his vaccinations, and all his veterinary records will be provided.

Story
Grover with black whiskers and his brother, Elias, with white whiskers, came to KittyCorner when they were tiny kittens in February of 2021.  They were adopted together, but when their people became too ill to care for them any longer, the boys came back to us as part of our "Lifetime Return Policy."   We were delighted to see them all grown up  as sleek, healthy young adults.  And they are so well-adjusted and confident upon their return, that we know they had an excellent and loving fanily.   We kept them  caged at first, but after their shots and tests were updated, and they were pronounced healthy, they regained their freedom.  We put them in our library.  I know they felt abandoned, first when their adoptive Mom passed away, and  then when their Dad had to bring them back.  They were a little depressed at first, but they have  wonderful attitudes.  You could almost hear them saying "Okay, we're in a different place, so we better explore and stake out some territory .  But the food is okay, and that other kitty is nice." Grover is a bit smaller and sleeker in build.  Elias is a little taller and longer, but also with a sleek build.  Both boys love to play.  But they have always lived together, and are somewhat dependent on one another, with Elias a bit more confident.  Grover is also a very loving boy, but feels more confident around his brother.  Both boys have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and have great personalities.  They’d love a family who would love them  and play with them, and let them be an important part of the family. For a pair of perfect young adult cats who are ready to be a part of your family’s lives, Please consider Grover and his brother, Elias (see his listing separately.)  THEY HAVE BOTH GAINED CONFIDENCE SINCE THEY HAVE BEEN HERE, AND WE ARE NO LONGER REQUIRING THEM TO GO TOGETHER. To express an interest in adopting  this fun and loving pair, (OR ONE OF THEM) please take the first step by filling out an adoption application for them at kittycorner.org under the Adoption tab, or at this link https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/  Please make certain that your email address is correct. With an accepted application KittyCorner will contact you by email to set up a time for you to come meet them.  All KittyCorner cats come with a lifetime "cat-back" guarantee. If at any time for any reason they need to be returned/rehomed, please just return them to KittyCorner.   We  will happily take them back. KittyCorner wants to be sure that  They will always have a safe place to stay. Thanks for considering adopting them!April 15, 2024, 12:01 am

Story
Elias (with white whiskers,) and his brother, Grover, (with black whiskers,) came to KittyCorner when they were tiny kittens in February of 2021.  They are brothers and best friends and were adopted together, but when their people became too ill to care for them any longer, the boys came back to us as part of our "Lifetime Return Policy." We were delighted to see them all grown up as sleek, healthy young adults.  And they are so well-adjusted. You could almost hear them saying "Okay, we're in a different place, so we better explore and stake out some territory   But the food is okay, and that other kitty is nice." (They live with an older kitty in their room for extra company) Elias is big, sleek and confident.  Grover is a little smaller and likes to have huis brother around for confidence, but still likes people a lot and is very friendly.   Both boys love to play.   They have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and have great personalities.  They’d love a family who would love them  and play with them and let them be a big part of their lives with lots of play and other stuff to do.   For a pair of perfect young adult cats who are ready to be a part of your family’s lives, Please consider Elias and his brother, Grover (see his listing separately.)  WE WANTED THEM TO STAY TOGETHER, BUT WE THNK THEY COULD EACH GO BY HIMSELF.  Since they are very cat-friendly (with a proper introduction) they could probably learn to love a new kitty companion. If you think you might be interesteds an interest in adopting  this fun and loving pair, OR ONE OF THEM BY HIMSELF, please take the first step by filling out an adoption application for them at kittycorner.org under the Adoption tab, or at this link https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/  Please make certain that your email address is correct. Story
Meet Betsy Ross. I am friendly, outgoing, loving, affectionate, very sweet, and calm. I arrived here on the July 3, 2023. I was thought to be pregnant, and in fact I delivered the first of my 3 kittens in the car on the way home from a vet check on July 11, 2023. I'm about 1 year old with an approximate birth date of July 11, 2022. I've been a very good young mother to my kittens, and they even gave me a tiny orphan named Moxie that I raised on my own. What a joy!  Now I'm ready to find a forever home for myself. Betsy Ross is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and has tested negative for FELV/FIV. To express an interest in adopting her, you need to fill out our adoption application, including as much detail as possible, at https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/. Please be sure that your email address is correct. If your application is accepted, KittyCorner will contact you via email to set up a time for you to come and meet her. Your donation of $100 will contribute to the cost of veterinary care that the cat received for all the above-mentioned procedures/treatments. KittyCorner is a New York State Registered Shelter/Rescue, Registration Number: RR0279. *All kittycorner.org kittens/cats come with a lifetime “cat-back” guarantee. If at any time, for any reason they need to be returned/rehomed, please just return them to KittyCorner. We will happily take them back as our mission is to ensure that all of our adoptees will always have a safe place to stay and call home.April 15, 2024, 12:01 am

Story
Dear Adopter, I was born on 7/11/23 to my mom named Betsy Ross who arrived here very pregnant on 7/3.  Mom is a delightful kitty, and she taught us everything she knows.  I'm a very friendly little lap kitten, who loves to play--the purrfect family pet.  I still have my brothers and sisters to play with, and we have endless energy and self confidence, but all of us want a home with at least one other playful cat or kitten to use our energy on. And of course, My siblings are still availabe for adoption and would love to be adopted in pairs. We're very creative, and keep the people who take care of us now laughing all day. All Kittycorner kitties have been spayed or neutered (even little kittens like me) tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV ,Vaccinated.  and microchipped.  Love, ~~To express an interest in adopting me please take the first step by filling out an adoption application for me at kittycorner.org under the Adoption tab, or at this link https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/  Please make certain that your email address is correct.
