Story
Maggie is an 9 year old female domestic short haired grey cat.Maggie considers herself one of the cool kids, hanging out in high places and acting like she doesn't need your approval. She likes to play hard-to-get, but once she's decided you are as cool as she is, Maggie is happy to be your friend. She's secretly very desperate for love, and so long as her cool feline friends aren't watching, she'll sneak a pet and a head rub before running off like she doesn't need you after all! Such cat-itude! She loves staring out of windows and climbing cat trees, where she can continue to be as cool as a cat can be. Maggie would do well in a home with other cats, possibly respectful older children, and a chill-cat friendly dog.To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
Linda is a 13 year old female domestic shorthaired brown tabby.Linda is an independent and feisty older girl, with a spirit of a tigress. She likes things her own way, and that way is slow and quiet, like any senior person. She would prefer to spend her time staring out of windows, prowling around under furniture, enjoying a fine dish of softened wet food, and napping someplace soft and private. Her attitude is that of a grand lady who has gracefully aged and expects to be treated with the utmost respect and reverence. Linda would prefer a home where she is the only pet and without any children, so that she might spend her glorious golden years in peace. To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
Jenny is a 2 year old female domestic short haired brown calico tiger.Jenny is delicate little lady who prefers time to herself and to have things exactly her own way. Imagine she is the most exacting and demur of Jane Austin's characters, who writes distantly of her affection towards you. She prefers to while away her days in windows, watching the birds, and climbing to high spaces for long cat naps. You might get the occasional slow blind of affection from across the room, if your manners are up to her high standards, however she mostly prefers other cat companions. Perhaps try inviting her to some tea and make light conversation, and see how it goes from there. Jenny must go to a home with a cat. Jenny would do best in a home with other cats, without dogs or children. To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. He loves to be pet and brushed, and loves guided playtime with laser pointers and wand toys. He lights up when he sees our volunteers walk into the room because he knows it's grooming and play time for him! He will do best in a home with children over 8 years old and does very well with cats. It is unknown at this time if he would do well with dogs.To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
Azalea is a 1 year old female domestic short haired brown & white tiger cat.Azalea is a true cat's cat - she has a good deal of cat-itude, prefers to grace you with her attention as she sees fit, and thinks rather highly of herself. She might seek out your company, but she expects you to have earned that privilege. She would much prefer to blow you kisses and slow-blink affection to you from across the room. What Azalea does admit a great fondness for is other cats. She loves their company, and insists on having a court of other fine felines gathered around her, to admire and purr over her. Azalea must go to a home with a cat. Azalea's ideal home would be one with other cats, without dogs or children. To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Save Time! Complete an application, fillable on our website! **Adoption fee is $150.00 first kitten/cat and 50% for the second, includes preventatives. Kitten series vaccines, rabies and spay/neuter and microchip. Kittens over 6 months of age are $50 (no additional discounts) **Sneak peek kittens can be viewed on our FB Group CATS Resort. We try to post as much as possible on social media for your selection purposes. *We only hold kittens (OVER 8 weeks of age) with a full adoption fee paid (non refundable if you cancel) otherwise, we pass up other potential adopters for a "on hold" kitten, only to find out they changed their minds and we missed a window of opportunity.        You can submit payment once your application is approved and the kitten has been deemed medically stable.        If the kitten you are interested in is NOT 8 weeks old, we ask that you do not send payment until their medical health has been stabilized.             **Payments can be made through our website, Paypal as friends & family to avoid a service fee (       CastAsideToSurvive@gmail.com       ) Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle or our website. If you use the facebook page (use the donate button) . You would need to forward the receipt as we do not get reports of payments until the end of the month. *Once they reach 3 pounds, they will be spayed/neutered (we pay) and given their rabies vaccine. Once we know when the surgery date is, we ask that you arrange a quick kitten vet appointment per our adoption agreement, we will schedule the finalization within 4 days of YOUR vet appointment) Banister Veterinary Hospital, local to us, 845-331-1050 is very accommodating for this!        click here to request an appointment! We recuperate 2 days post-operatively before medically releasing them to their new FURLESS homes. *When the adoption process is finalized in person, there is a binding contract that needs to be reviewed and signed. Our contract strongly indicates a vet appointment within four days of adoption. Please make your vet appointment as soon as we are discussing the adoption date, as we do not do diagnostic testing. We provide health records at that time. We do routine immunizations, preventative care for internal and external parasites and treat symptomatically. *This is a slow process. We are two women and the rescues in our care are priority. Mothers and babies, plus field trapping, being on the road, fundraising for medical costs, handling social media, emails, calls and more....sorry, please be patient. Messages are responded to in the order in which they were received both method and chronological. *We can move over to communicating via text (once all is approved) and you are added as a contact in my phone. We BEG you, don’t start multiple modes of communication. It just slows things down looking for the original content in order to be able to respond appropriately. We do not have staff to answer calls. Thanks for understanding! May 5, 2024, 10:16 pm
