After her family moved and left her behind, Brooke arrived as a very shy girl and will need someone with patience who will give her lots of time to come out of her shell. Luckily, she has been spending time in foster, where she is living worry-free. She loves staying in her cardboard cat-scratcher house where she feels cozy and secure while staying warm on her cat safe warming pad.Brooke does enjoy her hidey spots and may be skittish for some time. However, bring out a bristle brush and she will be a huge love bug!!! She loves to be groomed with it and will serenade you with her sweet purring. Besides being brushed, Brookes other favorite activity is watching cat-tv on YouTube from the comfort of her hidey spot. Brooke is such a lovely, sweet girl who just needs someone to love her and let her go at her own pace. She has not been introduced to other animals as she is very timid, but she is also very gentle. Wes was a kitten born to a neighbor’s cat. They left all of the kittens outside most of the time next to a busy road. Wes would come to our house for attention and eventually into our hearts for adoption. We have 7 cats and he gets along fine with all but one. This one he does not like, he obsessively stalks and attacks because she is very timid. Because of this, he is confined to a separate part of our home unless he is supervised. Because of the separation, he gets upset and pees in areas other than the litter box at times. We feel he would correct this behavior in a less cat, less stressful environment. He is very mellow and loving and has the cutest kitten meow. Wes will be 7 in April. This decision has not come easy for our family, we love him very much but want him to be happier. He is to be indoor ONLY.
