Story
Woodrow is a very sweet cat. He was found to have grade 2 luxating patellas. Our vet said that this grade does not usually need surgery to fix and he may have a funny walk, a follow up with a vet post adoption is always recommended. The condition does not seem to cause him pain at this time. As he agers he may develop arthritis as a result however. Woodrow does not know a stranger and LOVES people and attention. So far he seems to like other cats. Stop by and visit this sweet kitty today!Thank you to the Rebillot Family for sponsoring $35 of Woodrow's adoption fee!

Story
Penelope is a very sweet and special cat. She was found wandering down the road wobbling. The finder thought she may have been hit by a car. When we saw her we suspected a neurologic condition that was confirmed by the vet. Penelope has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, abbreviated to CH. This is a disorder causes jerky movements, tremors, and generally uncoordinated motion. CH in cats is non-progressive, meaning it does not get worse with age. Penelope does not seem to let this condition slow her down at all! We do feed her is a raised food and water bowl to help stabilize her balance while eating. She will need a few special conditions in her new home. Penelope can not go up and down stairs or have access to railings and banisters. This can cause her to fall and injure herself. She should be introduced to her surroundings slowly so she can find her litter box and feeding area easily. Because she has balance issues she will need a home with teens and adults only as rapidly picking her up can cause her to panic. Penelope loves playtime and attention, but mainly from people only. She does not seem to like the other cats, we have not tested her with dogs but we do suspect she will not like them either. We know that there is a special home out there for this very sweet and adorable girl, is that you? We have included a link below for potential adopters to check out about this condition. We also have a great link to a YouTube video about CH. This really big boy is Coney! He is a gentle giant that can be shy at first. We do recommend a home without toddlers as they would scare him. Coney loves attention and told how cute he is. He is not sure about being carried around but he is gentle about his dislike of it (meaning he does not thrash around). Also, he has a super long tail that he loves to show off! Coney likes other kitties too! Stop by and see this handsome big boy today!

Story
Kit is a very sweet older boy that enjoys people and attention. He does get extremely scared in new environments and will need time to acclimate. Kit does perk up around older children. We do recommend starting him in a smaller room until he gets used to his environment. He is afraid of dogs and will need a long time to acclimate to them. Other cats do not seem to faze him at all. Kit is about 11.5 years old but is in great shape and seems to be in wonderful health. Stop in and see this sweet boy today!

Story
Timmy is a very shy, 10 year old golden tabby. Strictly an indoor cat. He is my parents' cat and they have both just passed away. Cat has front claws removed. Litter box trained. Timmy is afraid of steps and all people, probably including children. He does warm up to a caregiver and is quite affectionate after a time period of familiarity. He is also afraid of dogs and we assume other cats. He has always been alone with my parents. Best adoption would be a single person or an elderly couple.
