2 sweet kitties around 4 or 5 months old need a good hime. Someone left them at our friend’s shop. We thought we’d save them from the cold and bring them to a shelter but none of them are taking any animals right now. We can’t keep them because we have a dog will terrorize them. My husband is extremely allergic and I have an autoimmune illness that is challenging and I cannot take care of them. They need a home. As I said, they’re the sweetest kittens.

Nick is one of those cats who instantly captures your heart. Around 5–6 years old, he’s an incredibly gentle and affectionate boy who lives for the moments when the volunteers arrive on the Kitty Trail in Piqua. He waits patiently every day, greeting them with purrs and head bumps, soaking up every bit of love he can get. This sweet soul has spent far too long sleeping with one eye open — in the dirt, surrounded by the sounds of the 7-mile trail — and now, as the cold sets in, he dreams of something simple: a warm home and a family to love him. Nick has so much love to give and deserves to finally know the safety and comfort of being cherished. Please help us get Nick off the trail and into the warmth before winter hits. He’s ready to trade the cold ground for a soft bed and a heart to call his own. We will transport Nick here to Copley to his forever home!

Every day, he waits patiently for them to arrive — his eyes lighting up the moment he sees someone coming who will stop to give him the love he craves. This gentle, loving boy has endured so much. He’s slept in the dirt, weathered the storms, and now faces the freezing cold of winter — all while never losing his tender, trusting spirit. Mickey doesn’t ask for much, just the simple comfort of a warm home and a family to love him the way he’s always loved everyone he meets. A year ago, this beautiful girl wouldn’t come within 90 feet of anyone. She hid in the brush, quietly waiting for food until the coast was clear. If you approached, she kept her distance. If you tried to touch her, she’d hiss and swat — terrified, unsure, and clearly carrying the weight of a past where someone had not been kind to her. But Patches also desperately wanted connection. With time, consistency, and gentle care, she began creeping closer for meals. The hissing faded… then the swats softened… then one day, she allowed gentle pets on her neck and shoulders. And now? 95% of the time, Patches is an affectionate, sweet, social girl who rubs on her person, leans into attention, and shows just how big her heart really is. Occasionally she can get overstimulated and raise a paw as if to say she needs a moment — but it’s simply her way of communicating. Give her a quick break, and she settles right back into being your loving little cuddle-bug. Patches also has a quirky eye that has been the same for over a year — watery, a bit “off,” and possibly blind, but it doesn’t slow her down or affect her happiness one bit.
