Story
Sister Tammy is looking for home where she can be supported on her epic weight-loss journey! Her first family lost their home in the Otis fires, and her next family had life changes that caused them to return her to the shelter to search for her third, and hopefully forever home! At the shelter she has learned that playing with people is more rewarding than food. She does well with cats, dogs, and respectful children. Do make an appointment to meet her by calling 541-265-0720.

Story
Mr Bean is a handsome and sweet guy. He loves being petted and loved on. He's a bit shy at first and would like a peaceful home. He would be fine with a kitty roommate who was also friendly. Give us a call at the shelter to make an appointment to come see him. 541-265-0720

Story
These brothers would like to go together but could be split. One has a permanent injury to his paw and can't walk on it straight. We moved from a farm to town and would like to find them a small farm or property again. Our neighborhood already has too many cats. They are very friendly, litter trained, are fine indoor and out, ok with our dog and chickens. Have been around horses and goats. Hunters or lap cats or both. If we sit down they want to jump up. they are very much at our feet often. If adopted together, we will send whatever cat food, treats, feeder, litter boxes and litter, etc. with them. We could include a cat carrier also that should fit both. We will also include all vet records. One had no problem being carried around by a toddler, the other would probably be fine with kids too. They were born Aug 9, 2022 so approaching 2 yrs old. Still run around and chase each other. Both had rabies shots. Someone with an acre or more would be great.

private investigatorI'm working undercover to keep an eye on you and your household. You may not even know you're under surveillance. I can vanish into thin air if anyone or anything interferes with my investigation. Story
Curly is a super senior! not only in age but in her wonderful personality. She was surrendered to the shelter when her owner passed away and now is looking for a home to spoil her. We have performed multiple diagnostics tests on her and is in surprisingly great health given her geriatric status. If you haven't fallen in love with her blue eyes and manx tail, her flirty personality will surely win you over. She is currently in a foster home being doted on, so if you would like to meet her call the shelter today to set up an appointment to meet her! Here is what her foster parent has to say about her: Curly is a sweet, opinionated elderly lady. She is very sociable, but she likes to be in charge. If anyone picks her up and moves her to a certain place, she will immediately find somewhere else to be. When just hanging out, she'll let you know if she wants to be petted, if she wants your lap without petting, or if she just wants to be near you without further contact. She prefers having her human nearby always, even if she doesn't want cuddles at that particular moment. At meal times, she gets very excited, rushing around and purring, sticking her tail straight up while kneading with her back feet. Her other favorite time of day is anytime the human goes to a petting place, where the human sits and she can climb into their lap and get her tummy rubbed; she gets wide-eyed, then rushes over to receive appropriate attention. Better yet, she loves to have "mid-meal cuddles." After receiving her wet food and eating some, she has to stop and go to the human to get some scratches before she can finish her meal. She will usually make several mid-meal cuddle trips per meal. Although she prefers to have company while eating, she's okay on her own if the humans are otherwise engaged. Despite her age, she still has energy and will sometimes play or race around. She doesn't have any trouble jumping up onto higher surfaces (but she's never jumped onto the kitchen counter). She loves watching and stalking birds through the window. Because of her age, her eyes and ears don't work as well as they once did. Possibly because of that, she likes to have a chance to smell any reaching hands before allowing them to touch her. Her response to the hand, once she's done smelling, she tells you whether she wants to be petted. Biting, hissing, smacking, pho-biting, or ignoring are signs she gives for "no petting" with full head bumps and almost-head bumps are "yes" to petting, with ignoring being the most common "no" sign. She prefers horizontal scratchers or scratchers she can reach down to scratch rather than vertical scratching posts she has to reach up to. She has lived with other cats and is currently living in the same home as a dog, but she would be happiest as an only pet.

sidekickLike all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble but I'm no scaredy-cat, either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.
