Story
Meet Froyo, she is part of our Working Cat Program. These cats are not well-suited to a home environment, but instead will thrive as outdoor or indoor/outdoor cats. They are an easy and environmentally-friendly alternative to traps and poison for your warehouse, barn, or stable. Some of the cats will eventually allow human contact, while others will not tolerate any human interaction. All of our working cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, ear tipped, fully vaccinated and FIV/FeLV tested. All they need from you is food and water daily, shelter, and veterinary care when necessary.

Polli (DOB 8/22/2021) is a beautiful grey cat with stunning yellow eyes. She has been with our shelter since she was a year old and has been overlooked too many times. Polli loves other cats and would thrive in a home with another cat or two. She can usually be found snuggled up to one of her unit mates or lounging on a cat tree on the enclosed patio. Polli is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FELV, FIV. To adopt Polli, email Mattie at Mattie@nokillarc.org or complete a pre-approval at www.nokillarc.org!

Story
Moonpie (DOB 1/1/2020) was seized along with 60 other cats with the help of the state police in September 2021. She went into foster with her litter of kittens and once the kittens were weaned and vetted, entered our shelter with them. All the kittens have since been adopted but Moonpie is still waiting! She is our shelter's longest resident and is so deserving of a home. She is a staff and volunteer favorite and can usually be found perched in her favorite cat bed in our adult unit or lounging on the porch. She gets along well with other cats and was in foster with dogs. She would be a great addition to any home! Moonpie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FELV, FIV and microchipped. If interested in Moonpie, please complete a pre-approval at www.nokillarc.org or email Mattie at Mattie@nokillarc.org.

Story
Kit-Kat (DOB 5/25/2014) was surrendered to our shelter with another cat. Both were taken in by a friend when the owner passed away but they could not provide long-term placement. Kit Kat is happy in any environment where she is in charge. She can be spicy if she feels she isn't getting the attention she deserves, or if she is getting too much attention. For this reason, Kit Kat is a staff and volunteer favorite because if nothing else, we LOVE a spicy girl! Kit Kat's ideal home would be with a single person or couple that wants a cat with a lot of personality who will occasionally demand your lap for a nap. Kit Kat is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FELV, FIV. If interested in Kit-Kat, email Mattie at Mattie@nokillarc.org or complete a pre-approval at www.nokillarc.org.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Citrine (DOB 6/14/2021) was found wandering as a stray in a local community. She was having difficulty walking and the residents were concerned she had either been attacked or was suffering from a medical condition. She was brought to our shelter and examined by our vets, who found no physical injury and suspect she has a mild form of CH (cerebellar hypoplasia), a neurological condition that does not affect the quality of life of a cat but does cause mobility and balance issues. Citrine is fine in our juvie room and would be able to easily transition into a home that can make slight accommodations for her needs. She was temporarily in a foster home to see how she would do in a home environment and she was able to navigate the home with ease, even the stairs! Citrine is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FELV, FIV. To meet Citrine, Email Mattie@nokillarc.org or complete a pre-approval at www.nokillarc.org
