Louise never makes much noise, except if she is hungry. She prefers to lounge and play quietly instead of participating in the usual kitten antics. Louise loves adult female cats and would be the perfect companion for an adult cat. She is constantly trying to cuddle as close as possible to the adult cats in her foster home. Hey, Y'all, Let me tell you a little bit about me. I am truly just a little bit, too. I was left at a pet store by a lady who rescued me but could not get me to a shelter. The very kind manager of the store took me under her wing and contacted the Humane Association of the Lowcountry for me. I am too young to use the phone myself. My foster repeatedly says how wonderful I am. I play continuously with toys and have a hearty appetite. And my foster mom says that my soft fur is as soft as a rabbit's coat. I have cloudy eyes and the ophthalmologist veterinarian did a thorough examination and reported I have symblepharon which is adhesions of the conjunctiva to the corneal surface which is most likely a result of neonatal eye infection. Surgery was not recommended as the adhesions are highly likely to reform. When I had my eye exam the vet stated I was not a special needs kitty as I play, eat and do all the normal things felines do. He dropped cotton balls around me and I went after them thinking they were cat toys! Maybe they were? But I did not get to take them home. I receive Optixcare Plus (over the counter tear lubricant) 1/4 of an inch strip to both eyes 1-2 times a day. Lots of love and petting after for being so good during a quick 5 minute treatment. I am very loving, appreciative, cuddly and purr even before my foster touches me. I also like other cats as well as dogs. By the way, I am not from Kathmandu in Nepal but it is fitting to be named like an exotic historic region. I do not mind if you tell people I am from there. I am actually named from the combination of Mandy and Buddy from two humans that adore me. Mandu will bring a cat’s joy and peace to your life. Let's meet sweet baby Metu, Metu was found at a feeding location watching from bushes as other cats were fed and looked the feeder in the eyes and cried “Me too?” wanting to know if she could eat as well. Very polite kitten with excellent manners. Metu is four months old, female, orange tabby. Unique as only 20% of orange tabbies are female. Metu is loving, cuddling and has all the traits and personality of an orange tabby - friendly, affectionate and playful. She is social, energetic but not mischievous. Would you like to meet Raphael, one of the Renaissance Master Artists? Well, he's not really of the Renaissance or an artist but he is a fun loving little male kitten in our era. Raphael is a very handsome brown tabby little 3 month old boy with the most dreamy eyes. Raphael is now at PetSmart in Hardeeville. Come over and meet him and see how much fun he is and how loving he will be with you. Raphael along with his brothers Donatello and Leonardo were rescued by HAL when they were offered for free by a family who wanted to find them a good home. They were living inside since they were born. Lucky for them...they hit the jackpot when they were placed into a wonderful and loving foster home where they have lived for the past 2 months. Raphael and his brothers have been learning how to play for hours with each other and with other older cats. They love wand toys, balls to chase and chasing each other through their foster's home. Raphael is so very and really sweet and has a non stop purr motors. He loves to be part of a cuddle puddle. Raphael would like to cuddle with you on the couch once he has worn himself out. And that happens everytime after he has been playing. If you have a dog no need to worry about Raphael. He is not at all afraid of the foster mom's puppy.
