Maeve was a trailer park cat that we trapped when she was pregnant. She was a wonderful mom for her four babies, who have all found homes. Maeve is not comfortable with being picked up or handled, but she seems to enjoy hanging around people and isn't afraid of them after she has a chance to settle in to her new surroundings and people. She has a very calm, sweet, soothing personality and would be the perfect companion to someone who wants a cat in their life but doesn't need a lap cat begging for attention. Maeve is a beautiful DSH tabby with silvery grey fur.

Personality: Timid, Affectionate, Curious - would do best in a home with kids 10 or older I am a shy boy who takes awhile to warm up to new environments and people, but once I do I will be right by your side. I'm more of a couch cat than a lap cat and will lay right next to you, asking for pets. I can get overstimulated and will hide from loud noises or scary stuff. But I do love to explore, stalk prey and be playful. Favorite toys: Wands! Scratching posts, and catnip/silvervine wall mounted balls. Note: Shadow is the brother to Cuddles. She would love to have another young cat to chase around, as Lindsey can run, but she's not fast (like her foster mom). Aly scores a 10 on biscuit making, purring so much you can feel it, and taking naps in an instant! Most night she sleeps with foster mom. She loves almost all cat toys and likes to hide them in shoes occasionally. Belly rubs and being carried short distances are fully allowed. Aly is calm cool and collected, and has recently learned to talk to herself out loud when walking down stairs.
