My wife and I are urgently seeking a safe and loving placement for my mother's two cats due to the progression of her Alzheimer's disease, which has left her unable to properly care for them. The cats are a bonded brother-and-sister pair who are 6 years old and have been together their entire lives. We moved my mother into an assisted living facility in June, and we brought the cats with her because they are very important to her. Unfortunately, her Alzheimer's has progressed significantly since then. She is no longer able to consistently meet their daily needs, and the facility does not offer services that can provide care for resident pets. The cats are both spayed/neutered, have lived their entire lives indoors, and have no experience living outdoors. I cannot find records for the last couple of years, so they may not be current on their vaccinations. However, I am willing to cover the cost of updating any vaccinations or veterinary care needed to facilitate their placement.

She is incredibly friendly, loves people, and truly doesn’t care who you are—she’s happy to meet everyone! ❤️ She is the kind of kitten who is easygoing and affectionate without being fussy. She doesn’t cause a fuss and has such a calm, loving nature. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a friendly, easygoing kitten to add to their family. Unfortunately, due to allergies in our home, we have made the difficult decision that we need to find Ash a new home. This is not because of anything she has done—she is an absolutely wonderful kitten. We just want to find her a loving family where she can be happy, spoiled, and loved for years to come. Ash deserves a forever home where her sweet personality can shine. If you think Ash might be the perfect addition to your family, please reach out.

Squid is 2 years old, and unfortunately due to life altering circumstances I cannot care for him anymore. He was surrendered to an animal hospital when he was a kitten, he has suspected HCM and is on medication to treat his symptoms. He always takes his medicine eagerly and is very stable although he does require frequent veterinary monitoring. He is a sweet boy who can take some time to warm up to others especially other cats, but he is very energetic and loves to play.
