Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet Esther, a lively and affectionate 2.5-month-old tortie with beautiful splashes of orange and white fur. She’s a high-energy girl who is always ready for playtime, whether she’s darting through the cat tunnel, wrestling with her siblings, or climbing her way to the top of the cat tree. Esther’s playful spirit is matched by her bold curiosity—she’s always the first of her litter to explore something new, and she does it with confidence and a loud, joyful purr.   Despite her adventurous streak, Esther is just as enthusiastic about cuddles as she is about play. After a busy session of chasing feather wands and furry balls, she loves to curl up in your lap, purring contentedly as she settles in for a nap. Her sweet and snuggly nature makes her a wonderful little companion for anyone looking for a kitten who brings both energy and affection into the home.  Esther is well-socialized and comfortable with other cats, including adult cats, and she’s unfazed by new people or new environments—she even thinks brooms are toys! She thrives in an environment where she has plenty of opportunities to play and explore, and she’d love a home with lots of toys, a cozy lap, and maybe even a kitty friend or two.  This curious, cuddly, and confident kitten is ready to bring joy and fun into her forever home. Whether you’re looking for a playful sidekick or a purring snuggle buddy, Esther is the perfect mix of both. * $175 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. May 10, 2025, 8:52 pm

Nova and Mika – available together! Hi, my name is Nova and my sister Mika and I are looking for our person. They should have some experience socializing and want a little bit of a project. When we got to our fosters, we were hissy, pissy, scared kittens. We have both become more comfortable with our fosters, but I am definitely less confident than my sister. I still sometimes run away when my foster offers a scratch but, I am sticking around more as I see how good it feels. Recently, we got a crinkly tube to play in and I really like when I think there is something underneath it. I’m also very curious about who the cats are on the other side of the door and I talk to them. Our fosters can’t pick us up yet, but they are working on it. If you want the satisfaction of earning our love and trust, please apply but we do need to stick together. p.s. – I love churu cat treats a LOT.

Mika and Nova -available together! Hi, my name is Mika and my brother Nova and I are looking for our person. They should have some experience socializing and want a little bit of a project. When we got to our fosters, we were hissy, pissy, scared kittens. We have both gained more confidence and enjoy playing with our fosters with a toy on a string. My brother is the more shy of the two of us and is just now starting to like getting pets. I am a bit obnoxious and LOVE to be petted and I am a little purr machine. Sometimes I get a little over stimulated and may play bite and smack you with a paw but no claws and no broken skin. Our fosters can’t pick us up yet, but they are working on it. If you want the satisfaction of earning our love and trust, please apply but we do need to stick together.
