Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Luke is a 7-month-old orange and white Domestic Short Hair kitten with a heart as warm as his sunny fur. He’s in that perfect “teenage kitten” stage—playful, curious, and always ready for fun, but equally happy to settle in for some cuddles. This sweet boy has an incredibly gentle nature. His tiny meow and loud, happy purrs make him impossible not to adore. Luke loves spending time with his siblings—wrestling with his brother, cuddling with his sister, and lounging together in cozy cat piles. When it comes to toys, Luke is a joyful little athlete. Foil balls, toy mice, and anything he can bat around are all instant favorites. He’s also a champion bird-watcher and loves relaxing at the top of the cat tree to enjoy the view. Luke may be a tad shy with new people at first, but he warms up quickly and shows his affectionate, people-loving side in no time. He thrives with other cats and would make a wonderful companion for a feline friend. Cat-savvy children would also be a great match, and while he hasn’t met dogs yet, a calm, respectful dog with proper introductions could be just fine for him. Luke is the perfect blend of playful and snuggly—loving, gentle, and always ready to brighten your day. He would do best in a home that appreciates a sweet, social kitten and can give him the attention, companionship, and elevated cat-tree perches he adores. If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and utterly charming addition to your family, Luke is ready to steal your heart!  * $175 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Pepper is a delightful three-month-old domestic medium hair with a beautiful tortoiseshell mix of cream and black. She has a big personality packed into a tiny body and loves to keep life interesting. Pepper can go from high-energy playtime to calm cuddle sessions with ease. She adores feather toys, happily chases balls, and is especially entertained by ping pong balls and plastic springs. One of her favorite activities is playing with toys in the bathtub, and when she’s not busy playing, she enjoys relaxing on the cat tree or savoring her beloved Churu treats. Pepper is very sweet and affectionate, often choosing to sit in your lap for pets and attention. While she doesn’t enjoy being picked up, she makes up for it by being loving and interactive on her own terms. She can be a bit possessive with her favorite toys and food and isn’t always eager to share, so she may need patience and slow introductions if living with other cats. She did well meeting visitors and was confident and outgoing, though she has not been exposed to dogs. Pepper would thrive in a home that appreciates her playful, spirited nature while also enjoying her softer, cuddly side. She would do well in most homes that can offer her love, engagement, and a bit of understanding as she grows into her unique personality.
Paprika is a striking three-month-old domestic medium hair with a beautiful brown and orange torbi coat and a personality to match. She is independent and confident, yet always wants to be right in the middle of whatever is happening. Paprika is very active and has a strong prey drive, happily chasing anything that moves and leaping impressively high to catch feather wand toys. Once she’s caught her “prey,” she proudly carries it around and guards it as her prized possession, which is both amusing and very much part of her bold character. Despite her independent nature, Paprika has a sweet side and enjoys sitting in a lap for pets and attention, though she prefers not to be picked up. She is curious about everything around her and loves investigating anything new or different. She did well meeting visitors and allowed them to pet her, showing a friendly and social side with people. Paprika can be possessive with toys, treats, and attention and may need slow, patient introductions to other cats. She would likely do best in a home without small toddlers due to her strong prey drive, but an active household with older, cat-savvy children or adults who enjoy an energetic, confident kitten would be a great match for her.   * $175 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN.* Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Teddy is an 8-month-old Domestic Short Hair tabby with four adorable white mittens and a matching white chest and belly. Once a stray, this sweet boy has quickly blossomed into one of the gentlest, cuddliest kittens you could ever hope to meet. Teddy is a soft, kind soul with a laid-back personality—especially for a kitten! His absolute favorite thing in the world is cuddling. Pick him up, and he’ll melt instantly into a warm, purring “little potato,” tucking his feet in and nestling his face under your chin. He loves being carried and will happily perch on your shoulder like a fuzzy parrot. While he’s calm most of the time, show him a crinkly or bell toy and you’ll see his playful side sparkle. This boy’s affectionate nature is off the charts. His snuggles aren’t just cuddles, they’re full-body hugs. He wants to be with you, on you, or draped across you at every opportunity. He’s gentle, sweet, and endlessly endearing. He adores his cat tunnel and any toys that make sounds or include bells. Teddy has been wonderfully polite and gentle with everyone he meets. He’s done great with men, women, other cats, and dogs. He’s even met a newborn baby and responded like the soft little gentleman he is. He hasn’t lived with active children yet, but shows every sign of being adaptable and kind. Teddy would thrive in a home where he can be someone’s steady companion; he truly wants to be by your side as much as possible. He’d also appreciate having at least one other friendly cat in the home, as he seems to take comfort in the presence of different animals. Because he spent time as an outdoor stray, he may still have moments of shyness, but he’s already proven himself to be trusting, sweet, and eager to bond. If you’re searching for a loving shadow, a gentle snuggler, and a kitten who will fill your days with warmth and affection, Teddy is ready to love you with his whole heart. Ready to meet Teddy? He can’t wait to curl up under your chin. * $150 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting? Meet Baker, a 5-month-old domestic short hair brown tabby with the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddly charm. He’s full of kitten curiosity and loves all toys, especially if there’s a box involved. After a good play session, he enjoys curling up under a blanket to nap and knead biscuits with his paws. Baker is very friendly with people and other cats, making him a great fit for almost any home. He’s a little skittish around dogs but is otherwise a confident and affectionate companion. He came to us with a broken paw, but has made a full recovery. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving kitten to brighten your days, Baker is ready to meet you. * $175 plus transport fee (varies) for adoptions to the Northeast.  Interested in adopting?
