Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $50 if picked up in TN. Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet Sophia — A Gentle Soul Seeking Love and Patience Sophia is a beautiful Domestic Short Hair cat with a striking coat of brown tiger stripes. At around two years old, she's had a tough journey but is ready to write the next happy chapter of her life with a caring forever family. Although initially shy and unsure, once Sophia warms up to you, her sweetness truly shines.  It will take her a few days to decompress in any new situation but once she is settled in, her sweet personality shines. She adores gentle attention and thrives on human companionship. Her favorite "activity"? Being near you, soaking up your kindness and love. Sophia has lived with other cats and welcomed new people into her world with grace. While she's still unsure about dogs, given time and patience, this courageous girl may grow even braver in the right environment. What Sophia needs most is a patient adopter who understands that trust is built slowly but beautifully. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will blossom in your care, Sophia is the purrfect choice.  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. March 1, 2025, 7:26 pm

Story
This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $75 if picked up in TN. Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet Trinity, a gentle and resilient 1-year-old Domestic Short Hair with beautiful brown tabby fur. This sweet girl may be shy at first, but with patience and love, her affectionate side blossoms. Once she trusts you, she adores pets and head scratches, purring contentedly and even rolling over for more attention. She loves perching up higher and looking out the window, watching the birds. Her favorite toy is her ball track which has several layers with balls that she hits around and she will play with this all the time. She enjoys napping in her cat bed which has a covered top. Her cat bed, favorite toy, and water fountain will go with her when she’s adopted. Trinity thrives in calm, quiet environments where she can feel safe. As an amputee missing her right front leg due to past trauma due to being shot, Trinity is a true survivor who now just wants a peaceful, loving home. Trinity would do best with an adopter who can provide a serene environment without lots of activity or high traffic. She may adjust well to a calm cat companion given a slow introduction. If you’re seeking a gentle, loving friend who will thrive with care and compassion, Trinity is the perfect match. See this cat at PETCO, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501.   Interested in adopting? Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN. Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Say hello to beautiful tabby gal, Blanche! She is a stunning 6-month-young, Domestic Short Hair mix with a lovely tabby striped coat with a red sheen. Blanche is a sweet and friendly kitten who enjoys her toys and blankets. She is slow to warm up in new environments, but with plenty of affection and attention, we think she will thrive! Blanche enjoys being petted and brushed and has such an adorable little face. She gets along well with other cats, once given a slow and appropriate introduction of course. Blanche would also warm up to a canine friend, even though she's never met any in her foster home. Same for kids, but only older more cat-savvy kids would be ideal for Blanche. Blanche is ready to join a forever family where she is provided with lots of patience, sweet treats, and affection, if this might be you and yours, apply to adopt her today!  See this cat at PETCO, 377 W. Story
This kitten is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN. Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet marvelous Miss Dorothy! She is a 6-month-young, Domestic Short Hair mix with a gorgeous tabby patterned coat. This gal is as pretty as they come with such a sweet spirit. Dorothy is a little bit shy when first meeting new friends, but she's a charmer once she gets to know you and adores gentle pets and brushes. Her brown tabby coat is a lovely shade with some red splotches mixed in, making her a unique beauty. Dorothy is a big fan of wet food treats and will always come running when you crack open a can of food, or even rustle a trat bag. She likes playtime with the cat wand and the spring toys too. She is good with other cats, granted a slow introduction of course, and will certainly warm up to kids and dogs as well granted they are older and cat-savvy. She'd be best suited in a home who understands the "wallflower" cat and their personality, as she is still not a big fan of being held or cuddled. Dorothy is darling, won't you consider meeting her? Apply today to get something scheduled!  See this cat at PETCO, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501.   Interested in adopting?
