Story
Edward is a short haired grey and white neutered and vaccinated male. He has the kindest soul ever and loves to be loved on and sit in your lap. He will quietly follow you around everywhere making sure you have a cat to pet at all times if the need arises. He can be playful and is often found napping with his kitty companions. He loves Churu treats and playing with balls and tunnels. This one is sure to steal your heart. Edward came into our rescue with 21 other cats that were found abandoned in plastic totes on the side of the road on Christmas Eve. He needed extra care since he was so malnourished but now he has a clean bill of health!

🐾 **Meet Speckle – A Truly Special Girl Looking for Her Special Home!** 🐾 Say hello to **Speckle**, a calm, affectionate, and talkative sweetheart who’s ready to find her forever family. At approximately **8 years old**, Speckle is a mature adult who knows how to enjoy the simple things in life—like cozy naps, soft pets, and sweet conversations. 💗 She’s: ✅ Great with other cats ✅ Wonderful with kids ✅ Fully vaccinated ✅ Sweet, gentle, and easygoing Speckle is **FIV+**, which means her immune system is a little more delicate, but with regular vet care and a loving home, she can still live a **long, healthy, and happy life**—just like any other cat! ✨ A few FIV facts: 🐾 FIV is *not* spread through casual contact—sharing food, water, grooming, or litter boxes is totally safe 🐾 It’s mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds from serious fights (usually among unneutered males) 🐾 FIV+ cats can safely live with FIV-negative cats if everyone is spayed/neutered and gets along Speckle is a truly special kitty looking for a home with a kind heart and a warm lap. Could that be you?

Story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted 8/19/14, and pictures taken 8/6/14.  Heather was trapped at an elderly woman's home in Jacksonville on 6/17/14, and delivered 4 babies overnight before she was to be spayed.  The elderly woman already has 15 to 18 adult cats and two litters of kittens.  We kept Heather and her kittens in our isolation room after they were born for privacy, and she has since been spayed.  She has the shape of a Siamese, but is Black, and there were two Siamese and a Snowshoe at the house.  I believe this is her first litter.  She was a feral cat, but her hormones turned her into a cat that just wanted to be pet all the time.  Now that some time has passed after being spayed, she is back to being skittish, so she needs a home that knows how to work with her, and will be patient.  She would need to start out in a small room like a bathroom, so a person can sit down with her without her being able to hide.  A long handled brush can be used, as well as catnip, and small amounts of can food to help the bonding process.  She runs from me, but once I have her in a certain spot where she can't run anymore, she will let me pet her, even though she hisses at me.  She can be around older children, but I would not put her around small children, unless she becomes very affectionate, which can happen once someone can spend the time with her that is needed. D.O.B.:     ? October 2013Weight:     6.6 - 7/8/14 Our adoption contracts prohibit declawing of any kittens or cats, it is cruel, can traumatize the pet, and make the pet defenseless if the pet should get outside.  We encourage people to search for kittens and cats already declawed that need to find a new home. $15 adoption fee if placed as a barn cat.  $70 adoption fee if placed in a home, which will pay for her spay and vaccinations.November 6, 2024, 12:13 am

Story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted 9/10/16, and pictures updated on 11/14/18 and 6/22/21.  Ivana and her siblings, as well as their mother Viola, were at an elderly woman's home in the Bullard, TX area, and needing to be relocated due to allergies and moving.  Ivana and her siblings were caught first on 8/1/16, and had been use to the elderly woman, so they were tame with her.  Ivana is very unique in that she also has some Peach coloring stripes under her front legs, and her stomach along with some Gray spots.  Ivana is still a little skittish of new people, but with one on one attention, she would probably be a good inside cat, but could be outside as well. Story
These three adorable kittens were rescued in May 2025 from behind a mechanic's shop in Canton, with no mama in sight. Since then, they've been lovingly fostered indoors for the past six weeks, where they've blossomed into playful, affectionate little companions. ✅ Wormed ✅ Litter box trained ✅ Indoor raised and ready for cuddles! They’re a bonded trio who’ve been through a lot together, so their foster would love to see them go to the same home—or at least adopted on the same day so they don’t have to be apart for long. Whether they’re chasing toys or curling up for a nap, these sweethearts are ready to bring joy and purrs to their forever family. Could that be you?
