Story
I am a spunky, black & white kitty who knows what I want & insists on gettig it. If you want a cute kitty with plenty of purrsonality (in a small package), I might be the kitty for you. I am playful but also enjoy a snuggle once my belly is full. I sleep on my foster person on the recliner during the day & in bed at night. I object if disturbed before I am ready to get up. I would not be good around kids as I tend to nip to express objections. The vet determined that Winona's mom was quite pregnant when she was trapped to be spayed, so her mom Winnie came to a foster home to have her babies safe indoors before she got fixed. Winona and her sister Windy and brothers William and Wiley all got fixed too and now the girls still need homes. They also were microchipped for identification and vaccinated against rabies and FVRCP. Their mom Winnie tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting her to discuss if she is a good fit. She is also available to foster in the Bryan, College Station Texas area. Fostering is where you keep the cat or kitten until it finds a home, and bring her to adoption events at Petsmart 2-5pm most Saturdays. Winona picked up on some of her feral mom's fear of new situations and may need some time to adjust to a new home.

Story
Newman needs a special foster or forever home. He suffered nerve damage when an injury led to his tail being amputated. Before we realized the full extent of his injuries, he was adopted and returned twice for leaking urine. Since then he has needed help in the potty department. He can urinate some but ideally should have his bladder expressed to empty it twice a day but even vet techs have a hard time expressing his bladder. We have him on a new medicine regime (a pill wrapped in a pill pocket twice a day) that is helping him urinate without having his bladder expressed. He also needs special urinary diet food and takes a liquid medicine mixed with his canned food to avoid constipation. Newman is available to foster (vet care and supplies provided), foster-to-adopt (so you can make sure it works out before committing to forever). His special food and medicine is provided, A large bathroom with a window might be ideal in case he has any accidents, and to make sure he eats his special food if you have other pets. Keeping him well is a balancing act so someone with experience dealing with cats with special medical needs would be best. If you might be up to the task, please email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com. Newman is a sweet fella and worth the extra care he needs.

Story
Although full grown, Peanut is still full of kitten spunk. She would do best in a home with another playful kitten or young cat. She accepts pets and snuggles in bed in the morning but sometimes wants to wrestle when overstimulated so she would not be a good fit for a home with young children. She may be scared at first so an adopter with experience with scared cats would be ideal. She loves to play with toys that dangle from sticks and will keep you amused with her antics. Peanut tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is spayed. microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. She was ear-tipped when spayed (she came from a feral cat colony and we wanted the option to return her if she did not tame down). Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application and to discuss if she might be the right kitten for you, and you the right adopter for her. Once approved, we can meet at the College Station Petsmart on University to finalize the adoption.

Story
I'm young, sweet, and rather goofy. I have this funny habit of slapping other cats on their rear ends - it's all in good fun, I promise! I absolutely love being held; it makes me feel so safe & loved. Now, I must confess, I'm not the best patient at the vet. I can be a bit of a handful, but hey, no one's perfect, right? If you're looking for a cat with a unique personality, that's me! I'm full of love & surprises – I make every day interesting. Adopt me and let's make memories together! Billie tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is neutered, microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. He seems healthy but his urine is slightly more dilute than usual and he has a slight elevation in one liver value so monitoring by annual bloodwork and urinalysis is recommended. Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application and to discuss if he is a good fit for your home. Once approved, we can meet you to complete the adoption.

Story
I’m shy at first, but full of love. Curious & affectionate, I tend to need some time to warm up to new faces. Once I feel comfortable, I'll be your loyal companion, always sticking by your side and showering you with adorable meows. Don't be surprised if you wake up to my morning serenade, a reminder that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! If you're looking for a sweet (and vocal) companion, I might be the purr-fect match for you. Belle initially tested positive for FeLV, followed by three negative tests for FeLV (including a PCR). She has always tested negative for FIV, is spayed, microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. Possible that her first FeLV test result was a false positive (and she could be truly negative for FeLV) or indicate that she has a focal or regressive FeLV infection (not progressive) - slight exposure that her immune system is fighting off. Although the risk of her being contagious for FeLV is thought to be small, we advise that Belle be an only cat. Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application and to discuss if she is a good fit for your home. Once approved, we can meet you to complete the adoption. You can also meet her at our adoption events 2:30-5pm most Saturdays at the College Station Petsmart on University (back by the cat litter).

Story
I’m full of energy and like exploring my surroundings to check everything out. I love food, hugs, and I’m good at learning new tricks. When the fun & games are over and it's time to rest, I enjoy curling up for a good nap. I can hardly wait to find a forever home where I can share all this love & energy. Adopt me and gain a loyal friend who will liven up your days with plenty of fun & affection. Hunter tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is neutered, microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. Email BCSSpayDay@gmail.com for an adoption application and to discuss if he is a good fit for your home. Once approved, we can meet you to complete the adoption.
