Story
Wisp may not be the cuddliest cat on the block, but she’s got a quiet charm all her own. This beautiful black and white medium-haired gal, complete with a perfect pink nose, is around 8 years old and prefers to keep things on her terms. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life—like curling up in her favorite box for a cozy nap—and while she’s not feral, she’s also not one for petting or handling. Think of her as the independent roommate who appreciates your presence but values her space.Wisp recently returned to the shelter due to ongoing medical concerns. She had bladder stones removed in November and has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, which will require regular monitoring and a special diet. Because of her medical needs and her hands-off personality, Wisp is best suited for a special needs working cat placement. She must be an indoor/outdoor cat in a safe, secure environment where she can come and go as she pleases.Wisp may not be the right match for every home, but for someone patient, compassionate, and understanding of her unique needs, she’ll be a lovely and low-key companion. If you have a calm property and a kind heart, Wisp just might be the working cat for you.

Story
Ampert is a sweet and gentle soul who came into our care with a tail injury and a rough start, but you’d never guess it from his loving personality. Despite the challenges he’s faced, including being both FIV and FeLV positive, Ampert is full of heart and hope. He’s incredibly affectionate and adores head scratches, cozy naps, and gentle company. Ampert has shown us what true resilience looks like—he’s healed beautifully from his tail injury and continues to thrive with proper care and love.Ampert would do best as an only cat or in a home with other FeLV+ friends. He’s looking for a special adopter who understands his needs and is ready to give him the comfort and stability he deserves. If you’re ready to open your heart to a truly special cat, Ampert will reward you with endless love, gratitude, and companionship.

Story
Dublin is the sweetest cat you'll ever meet! I adopted him 3 years ago from Austin Pets Alive. Dublin needs a loving home where he can get all the pets he needs. He has been a great family cat, but we are moving soon and will not be able to take him with us. Dublin's greatest need is a lap and as many pets as you can give him. He is a happy cat who would make a great addition to any home.

Story
We picked up Raisin outside of our old duplex after he was abandoned by our neighbor. We have had him for almost 3 years. He was less than a year old when we took him in. He was neutered and treated and is up to date on his shots. We have a dog that has been with us all along and they do fine together, never had an issue with them together. He had one allergic reaction to a shot at the vet last year but did not have any reaction this year. We are transitioning our house to welcome a baby this summer and are looking to rehome Raisin to prepare for our baby.

Story
🐾8 week old kitten ready for furever home🐾 A client at my work found this little guy at a gas station covered in ants and abandoned by mom. We got the little guy back on track and he has been given a clean bill of health by the Vet! Important things to note: 🐾He is about 7-8 weeks old. 🐾adopt fee of $25 OR proof of pet insurance for the first three months!!! 🐾He is litter trained, eats on his own, and LOVES cuddles!!!! 🐾He will need his first shots around mid July. 🐾He has three and a half legs 🤭 he is missing the bottom half of his back left leg, but that does not stop him from going where he wants and climbing. The Vet does not think it will cause any long term issues for him. 🐾 Vet recommended to wait until mid July to get first round of vaccines due to his age being unknown! 🐾He loves dogs and cats! 🐾We have his play pen, blankets, bowls, and litter pan that will all go with him!
