Story
Hi There!!!  My name is Ghost, or as my foster dad calls me, Ghosty with the Mosty.  I love my foster home, but I am looking for my forever home and parents.  I am a very good boy and foster dad says that I am more like a dog than a cat. I am sweet, affectionate, and loving, even allowing belly rubs, but on my terms, meaning that I do seek out love, but am not your typical lap cat. I am outgoing and independent and love to play, even getting bouts of the zoomies every so often.  I will also follow you around the house like a little lost pup with no boundaries.  And yes, I will even follow you into the bathroom for affection, often plopping down right between your legs to keep you company in there. I get along with other cats, though I do tend to be an alpha, so I like being the dominant one in the relationship.  I also get along fine with dogs of all sizes who respect my boundaries.  If not, they may just get a boop on the nose to remind them of who is boss.  Lol.  As you can see from my pictures, I am a gorgeous solid white kitty with a fluffy tail and the most stunning green eyes. I have perfect litter box and scratching manners and would be the best addition to your family.  Won't you please adopt me??? ##1968531##

Story
Who doesn't adore a sweet tabby. Mueschka has undertones of calico in her fur making her unique. She's a laid back girl but she still loves rough housing with her brother and the other cats, racing them up the stairs during play time. Mueschke loves snuggling with my older cat and letting him groom her. She loves snuggling in the evenings and will come for love and pets. She was born in our rescue on October 15, 2022. Her mom was a dilute calico point Siamese. She would love to be adopted with her brother Becker. She is fostered in Kyle, TX. Please see our adoption policies and information at www.austinsiameserescue.org. ##1968269##

Story
Magoo is a male golden Tabby with black tiger stripes and big green eyes. He is blind and navigates the world a little differently. In the time Magoo has been with us, he has become very vocal.  He likes to trill a lot and meow when he hears us walk into a room, especially the kitchen as he hopes to then hear the opening of his favorite can of pate'. Magoo has had most of his teeth extracted and prefers wet food. He is also a very accomplished beggar.  When he hears us sitting down to eat and smells our food, he comes and sits right near the table hoping for some of what we are having. When Magoo first came to us, he was suffering from seizures, but with treatment of phenobarbital, his seizures have become extremely rare. He is very sweet, with a big personality and deserves a forever home! Please contact Austin Siamese Rescue or the foster listed with any questions. ##1965902##

Story
Lil D is a very sweet girl but likes to do her own thing. Loves to play with toys and other cats. Her meow is almost non existent, to get your attention she will softly touch you with her paw. Her and her siblings have been with me since they were born but its about time for them to find their forever homes. As much as id love to keep her and she'd love to stay, i cant afford it and my home is to small. She would do good in a home that already has a cat or kitten.

Story
Bird is a 3.5 year old indoor only cat. I got her from a local foster when she was 9 months old & she was the last of her litter to be adopted. She was very anxious and it took her months to warm up to me. She is not afraid to bite and scratch when she is afraid but once she warms up to you, she is kind. If you are not patient about bonding, she is not right for you. She is still anxious and jumpy and I believe that she needs a companion in the form of pet siblings to maker her quality of life better. I started her on Fresh Step litter & switched to Pretty Litter so she's been using Pretty Litter for the majority of her life at this point. Because I had a one bedroom apartment and there wasn't an abundant amount of space, I did let her sit on my couch and bed. I tried my very best to get her not to walk on the kitchen counters and for the most part, she is good but every now and then I'd catch her on there. I was told that she was microchipped but I never was able to figure it out.

Stormie has lots of energy & we just work too much & want to chill in our down time, but she needs a lot of play time. We just would like to find her a good home with someone that has time for her. Story
I found Pumpkin at a Girl Scout camp. She was about nine months old at the time. She is now ten years old. She loves to be friends with other animals. She looks disappointed if another cat or dog does not want to lay with her. I think she will be good as an only cat too. She loves laps. She was overweight at one time. She was unable to clean her backside. I had to do that for her. She lost weight and can take care of that for herself now. Other than being a little overweight, she has no health issues. She must be an indoor only cat. She has not been outside for more than nine years. She will not know how to survive outside.

Story
This is Luna. She is 8 years old. She came with my elderly parents who moved in with us several months ago. We have cats of our own and 4 kids. Unfortunately she did not make the transition well and needs to be rehomed. My mom says she used to be a sit in your lap and snuggle kind of cat and she now spends most of the day hiding. We took her to the vet and they said she is completely healthy. I believe she just needs to be in a kid free, single pet household to truly thrive and be happy again. She is very loving and really such a sweet cat. She can be timid at first but loves getting pats and snuggles. She’ll reward you with purrs and sandpaper kisses. She is spayed and has been up to date on shots in the past but is due for a rabies shot now. Asking for a $20 rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a good home. Please be patient with her. She's been stressed and she deserves a happy, quiet environment.

Story
We rescued Pickles and his sister (Sprinkles) last May, after they were dumped on a rural county road. Pickles is a big personality and a hit with the neighborhood kids, but has caused some issues with our neighbors that do not care for cats. Unfortunately, we had an incident recently where Pickles nipped a neighbor. Pickles is a year and a half neutered male, good with kids, good with other pets, and very friendly. Our cats stay in the garage and outdoors during the day, but I am unable to make them indoor cats due to allergies in the family. We have tried for several months to resolve the issues that Pickles has caused with our neighbors, but now the best course is to find him a new loving home. Any help would be appreciated!

Story
Hi. With a heavy heart I am looking to rehome Crash. I adopted him at an Austin animal shelter in 2012. He was a good cat for the majority of his life until recently. I divorced my wife a couple of years ago and currently take care of our 3 and 8 year old boys 50% of the time. I’m always really really busy and can’t give him very much attention besides just feeding him and cleaning the litter box. I’m looking for the new home to be loving and nurturing. He loves to play with toys and run around the house. He also loves to have his fur brushed. Adjectives to describe him would be playful, sleepy, and loving (minus small children). He doesn’t seem to care for small children (he just steers clear), but he’s not mean and has never harmed children or adults. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
