Story
Meet Penny!Penny is timid at first, and needs time warming up to her human - but once she does, she’s very affectionate with them. She loves to throw her body on them at bed time and snuggle in their armpit. She gets along with cats and dogs more easily than humans. Her best pal is Tom and he helps bring out her adventurous side.

Story
Tybalt is a handsome orange tabby who loves showing off his cute belly. He prefers to sleep on his back, and when he wants attention he knows rolling over and showing off his belly will get him all the “awwww”s in the household. Tybalt is very playful and curious. He seems to be blissfully unaware of anything negative in life. He is just here for the party and is ready to have a good time! Tybalt is very talkative and loves to tell you about all his feels. He is an emotional guy and is not afraid to tell you what`s on his mind. He will have full conversations with his foster parents. Tybalt is a permanent kitten and will do some impressive leaps for the feather wand. He also doesn`t realize his grown and often has a carefree `kitten vibe` about him. Tybalt is 2 years young. One thing worth noting, since it’s important to him, Tybalt is obsessed with his pet fountains. He loves pet fountains and gets pretty upset if they are not full. Tybalt does have expectations that his new home will provide him with a pet fountain that they maintain and clean regularly. He might be a little spoiled… Tybalt will bring life and energy into your household. He is such a fun cat and will be the household clown. He will keep you laughing all the time. Tybalt LOVES dogs and doesn`t seem to be intimidated by them no matter how big they are. He does prefer to be the only cat in the household, or with a cat that is confident and unphased by a cat that seems to understand dog language more than cat language, and boundaries.

Story
We got Tony from a shelter 11 years ago when he was 6 months old. He is the sweetest, most gentle cat you will ever find. He has never shown a single sign of aggression and is great with young children. He's very clingy and cuddly. However, he is anxious and always has been. A home with no other pets would be preferable and a place where he doesn't have to see/smell other cats outside. We would love to keep Tony forever but we have other pets and he is triggered by stray cats that roam our neighborhood and spray in our backyard. It causes him to urinate outside the litter box to mark his territory. I think he would be better off in a lower stress environment where he didn't have to be around other pets.

Story
We have had to make the difficult decision to rehome our rescue cat. Unfortunately, for some reason, he has become very stressed around our small chihuahua which is causing safety issues in our home; he has no problems with our other cats or our senior dog (who is bigger than him). Springer's personality is best described as resembling Garfield, he is a laid back, lazy cat who loves to relax. Springer does not require a lot attention, he will graze against you as you make coffee and meow softly when he wants treats otherwise, he is happy stretching out in the room the humans are occupying. He plays other cats and completely ignores our other dog, so I am thinking he is just not good with small dogs. He is 6 years old, loves kids, is litterbox trained, and is an indoor cat. He has been living in my son's bedroom to keep him away from the chihuahua; however, this is not the life we want for him; we want him to be happy and have a good quality of life.

Story
We adopted Billie in June 2023 from Austin Animal Center. She is tiny, weighing in at 8 lbs full grown and very timid. We do not know her age as she was already an adult but they estimated 2 years which would make her 4 years old now. What the shelter didn’t know and we came to find out over time is that she is deaf. Because of this she gets spooked easily as she cannot hear us walking up behind her and she darts off. Overtime she has come to love head scratches and will nuzzle up against our legs when we are feeding her. She is not agressive, she will not bite or scratch, but she cannot be held or picked up. She is perfect for a home that wants a cat that will be independent and do their own thing! She loves other cats and we were told that she was in a cat hoarder situation before we got her so another cat in the home is preferred. She also does fine with our dogs. We now have a 4 month old and have decided her special needs no longer meet what we can handle at this time.

I’m a quiet guy. That means you better come find me because I’m probably into something. There’s so much to explore! I like to sleep beside you and watch you work, though I’m told I can’t sit right in front of the monitor. My sister and I would love to explore every inch of your house. Can we? ##1968371##
