Story
Lana was the neighborhoods favorite stray. She is very friendly, well mannered, and socialized. She had kittens in October in a raspberry bush. I brought her and her kittens in out of the cold and fostered them. The kittens have all found good homes. Now it’s Lana’s turn. She is 1 year or less. She is easy going. She would do fine with another friendly cat, she would be okay with a dog that is calm and respects her space but not rambunctious ones. She enjoys face rubs, laying on the couch with her people, playing with paper and flirt poles, scratching on her scratch post, and climbing her cat tower. She has a mild heart murmur that vets said are likely from being young and pregnant and should go away on its own, but she may need to have it checked on again during annual exams to make sure. She is a very wonderful little girl. She will make an amazing new addition to the family. Adoption fee will be donated to local shelter.

Mocha – A Cozy Companion with a Heart of Gold ☕🐾Mocha is a beautiful senior tortie whose previous owner could no longer care for her. Now she’s looking for a peaceful home where she can spend her golden years doing what she loves most—snuggling in bed and snoozing the day away. This mellow girl is a cuddle expert and a loyal companion. She got along well with the dog and kids in her former home, but she prefers to be the only cat in the household—she’s happiest when she has her human all to herself. As a senior kitty, Mocha’s adoption fee is just $30, and it’s completely waived for adopters age 65 or older. If you’re ready to share your heart (and your bed) with a gentle soul who thrives on love and quiet companionship, Mocha is waiting to meet you.Available through Humane Society of Northern Utahemail: 1adoptions@gmail.comTelephone: (801)-648-2719

Story
I was trapped as a feral kitty but I turned out to be friendly and no one claimed me from stray hold. I was living with other kitties in the area I was trapped in, but I haven't been exposed to dogs or children since I was rescued. I am pretty chill, but I do like to play and I do REALLY enjoy wet food. I prefer slower movements and like to sniff your hand before being pet until I get to know you, but then I LOVE being petted. My foster mom and the volunteers at the sanctuary say I am very nice and sweet.Available through Humane Society of Northern Utahemail: 1adoptions@gmail.comTelephone: (801)-648-2719

Story
🧡 Rustling Autumn FlameSay hello to Rustling Autumn Flame, an adorable orange tabby boy with a playful spark and a warm little heart 🍂🐱. Like his brother Whiskered Wonder, he came from a feral colony and is still learning that the indoor life is full of softness, safety, and so many toys 🎾💫.Rustling Autumn Flame is still shy, but his playful side shines bright! He LOVES chasing toys on a string — especially the ones that let him leap into the air, do flips, and show off his impressive parkour skills 😸✨🌀. Exploring new spots and wrestling with his brother are essential parts of his daily routine 🐾.When the fun winds down, he and Whiskered Wonder can usually be found cuddled up in a warm, cozy nap pile 😻💤.He can be hand-shy, but gentle, slow interactions (and a few Churu bribes 😋) help him feel safe and loved. Rustling Autumn Flame would be love to be adopted with his brother or have another kitty friend — but a single cat household may also help him bond with his human family better💕🏡.Available through Humane Society of Northern Utahemail: 1adoptions@gmail.comTelephone: (801)-648-2719

Story
Ash was found as a kitten about six weeks old in the spring of 2024 in Ohio. My son and I adopted her in June 2024, and I've since relocated to Utah for work. I'll be moving to a place that doesn't allow pets in a few months. Ash is very intelligent (she's almost figured out how to open lever handled doors) and very vocal. She constantly follows me around to watch whatever I'm doing. She's skittish and doesn't like to be picked up, but she seeks out attention (she lets you know when she wants pets), loves to be pet and brushed, and is happiest sitting on a lap. She loves to play but doesn't scratch or bite, even when she gets really excited. I think she'd do best in a calm house, probably without a dog. This winter, Ash developed asthma due to the poor air quality. She had no issues previously. She's currently on oral steroids (mixed with a treat) and training to use a kitty inhaler. She's not quite there yet, but she's very smart and makes daily progress.

Story
Mr. Whiskers also goes by Whiskey. He is 11 years old. He is a lovable big boy who enjoys to sit on your lap while you game. He really loves adult attention and does not have much experience around kids. Whiskey was originally from my hospice client, I adopted him from her in 2023. He is a wonderful boy but does not get along with the 2 other cats I have in the home. He was used to much attention & not sharing a home. His transition into our home has been stressful on him due to the other pets. He would thrive in a home where he is the only pet. He enjoys a yard & knows how to go in and outside. He is up to date on all vaccines & I have a full medical record on him. If you want a senior who is playful, is obsessed with treats & just wants to be snuggled please write me about Mr. Whiskers!

Story
This is our mature, sweet and loving family cat, Dobby. We are looking for a new warm and loving home for her after 10 years of having her as a part of our family. Our new baby is allergic and we tried to make it work by letting her outside more and we have an aggressive neighborhood cat that makes it unsafe for her to get any fresh air which makes it hard for my baby too. We are heartbroken that we're not able to keep her for the rest of her sweet life and are looking for a loving home/family for her to be safe and cozy with the rest of her days. She's a great cat and will be deeply missed by our family. Please consider her. She's so sweet and all she wants is a warm couch to snuggle on and someone to pet her.
