Story
Hi, this is Toby. He is 4 years old. I adopted him from a shelter in Virginia. When I first saw him, it was love at first sight. Unlike all the other cats in the shelter who seemed scared and grumpy, Toby on the other hand, greeted everyone he sees with his sweet eyes and curled up asking for some belly rubs. He was the cleanest, friendliest and the most brilliant cat I have ever met! He was able to learn basic tricks within just an hour when I first taught him. Toby understands what no means and what not to do. Very well behaved, almost like a dog. I was told by shelter attendees that he grew up with dogs. It breaks my heart that I have to give him up due to my moving situation after all the years we spent together. I hope whoever adopts him treats him with so much love and attention. He is one of a kind, he’s the sweetest little boy you’ll ever meet. Toby prefers to be the only cat in the household, I tried adopting another cat before and he gets jealous easily.

MEET KIT KAT! I am the sweetest boy who has soft meows and likes to talk to you! I am a shy boy but we are working on that. I love to have a covered bed that I can hang out in. I really am a very smart boy! I know my name and will come out for you, once I feel safe! Treats are the way to my heart! I would love a cat savvy human to give me a chance and would love a calm home! When I came to Whiskers I didn't really know how to cat, i am learning some very fun stuff! I like wand, toys and enjoy my stuffed animal. Every day that goes by I learned about new cool things! I am a very gentle boy I love pets and chin scratches, and I'm a big guy too. I weigh about 13 pounds but I am very sleek and slender! My coat is absolutely gorgeous. I came to Whiskers with a bit of a sensitive tummy because I had been being fed mostly dog food. I LOVE my wet food and eat mainly this. I did have several food trials and an abdominal ultrasound. I am feeling much better now. I really prefer my cat savvy dog friends over cat friends. If you have a pup who loves kitties and is cat savvy I would LOVE that, Currently my best friends are my foster humans and their handsome doggo Gary!

-Nomad is a very sweet partially paralyzed bangal who needs a lot of extra special care and attention. Needs assistance going to the bathroom 3 or more times a day. Cannot use the litterbox. -Especially loves chin and head rubs -Does well with respectful dogs and cats -Loves to do spin tricks -Likes to sit on laps on his terms, preferably before bed -Likes some toys but will sometimes try to eat spring toys, so no spring toys. :) He's partially paralyzed from the waist down but that doesn't bother him or hinder him at all as far as getting around. He is a very happy very excited guy. He can't use a litter box and uses diapers but mostly just needs his bladder expressed 2-3 times a day.
