Meet Benjamin! This sweet sensitive boy arrived at the shelter with three of his siblings and he was very sick. He went into a loving foster home with his sister Bethany where he was was given medication and lots of TLC. Benjamin is now healthy and ready to find his forever home! He may always have a small scar on his eye from an ulcer that has healed but it doesn't bother him one bit! Benjamin is a little bit shy at first but he's such a snuggle bug and loves to play. Benjamin would do great in a home with another cat or a gentle dog.If you are interested in Benjamin please call his foster mom Carrie to set up a meet and greet! 509-699-3948

Story
About Ruth-from her foster mom She likes to be the cat in charge. I think it is worth noting. So she gets along very well with our Chuck. He lets her boss him around. Ellie isn't as flexible, but they tolerate each other now. So other kitties are great with a SLOW intro. She also takes no crap for Asha (For reference, she is 75-80 pound pittie.). We did slow intro, there, too. They don't snuggle, but Ruth isn't the least bit scared of her. Asha tries to engage her in play, and Ruth isn't keen on this. She looks down her nose at Ashie with distaste. A smaller dog might be her friend though. She is very tidy, and hasn't had accidents. She is fully litter box trained. She prefers wet food over dry, but eats Royal Canin with our cats. Her wet food is currently nasty Friskies because that is Chuck's preferred, but when she had the babies, she ate the Royal Canin you purchased for her! Ruth is loving, adores being pet, and likes to sleep at the foot of our bed. She likes to occasionally be picked up, but prefers for one to get down and pet her on her level. She is VERY playful, and still quite young acting. We play a bit every day with her, just because it is adorable. She was very playful with her kittens too. Her favorite toy is a stick with a feather on the end. I feel like she could potentially be a lap cat, if I didn't have Asha on our main floor during the day. She prefers new people to not wear baseball hats. Ruth is approx 1 to 1 2/2 years old

Story
Good morning everyone,  please allow me to introduce myself,  my name is PLUTO, I was born in foster care a day after my momma was brought in, my siblings, MICKEY & MINNIE are also part of my gang, so to speak.I love playing with my siblings and toys that make noise.Laying on the back of the couch soaking up the sun, watching the birds go by, and waiting for my big sisters to come along, the other cats come & play in hte same area as I'm laying, if they bother me to much I go find hte "BIG DOGS" and lay curled up next to them.  Thank you for  considering me to be part of your home, Love Pluto Thank you so much for considering adopting one of the pets in our care. If you see an animal that you are interested in, just click on their picture and more information will be available to you.   Each of our animals are microchipped, up to date on their vaccines, dewormed, and flea treated.  If it is age appropriate, they are spayed or neutered and given their rabies.  Unless it is otherwise noted in their medical history, our cats are not FELV/FIV tested.  This may be done at the request of an adopter and at their expense.  The adoption fee of each of our animals is listed underneath their pictures on their biography page.   If you would like more information, please click on the adopt button and fill out the Adoption form and that will be forwarded to the foster home so you can speak with them about the pet. Our adoptions are done on a first come first service basis unless a hold is placed on the pet(s).  The hold is for up to 7 days and may be done when the Adoption Contract is submitted.  You may place a hold by paying the Hold Fee of $25 per pet.  The Hold Fee of $25 is Non-Refundable and will be in addition to the Adoption Fee.  You may instead pay the full Adoption Fee which will also hold the pet(s).  After 7 days, if the pet(s) have not been picked up, any fees paid will be forfeited and will be considered a donation to Hands 'N Paws Animal Assistance.  We are a fostered based organization. Each of our animals are kept in individual homes where their foster parents can get to know them to help them find the best possible home.  As space is available they may also be available at Petco in Moses Lake or Petsmart in downtown Bellevue.  We will also be doing adoption events at Hale's Farm and Feed in Ephrata, WA on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am - 2pm. ##1673240##
