1 year old female  11 pounds  Canela was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico and is still learning that everything isn’t scary. She jumps at new things and sometimes things she’s seen before.  She takes a little bit to get used to new situations, but is getting better all the time. Once she gets comfortable with someone, she would like to be next to them as much as possible. She cuddles up to women faster than men, but it does happen within a couple of days.  Canela really needs another young and confident dog in her forever home to show her how good life can be. She loves to play and we want to be sure she has a playmate. 10 year old 16 pound dachshund mix from Puerto Rico  Pepe came to us with a badly broken leg, horrible teeth and heartworm positive.  His leg was unable to be saved, but he gets around great on three legs. He loves to go for walks and has his very own stroller for when he’s rather ride than walk.  He is good with kids, adults and other dogs. 10-12 year old female mix 12 pounds Sweet and mellow girl Had a vestibular issue and is still a little crooked, but she isn’t affected by it. She would love a quiet place to spend the rest of her years. She will play with a toy if given the chance. Good with other dogs and all people.
