One-year-old female Dachshund mix. She weighs 22 pounds. She came to us pregnant and all six of her babies have found their forever homes. It is now her turn. She is excellent with children, she is great with other dogs. She’s good with adults and listen as well. She has very good potty skills. She would not be a good fit for a house that has a cat. She would love a backyard where she can chase lizards and squirrels. Sweet and shy girl that came to us from Puerto Rico 7 years old 13 pounds Her life was HARD before DRSF. She lost an eye The scar across her snout is where someone tied it shut and it cut into her. Nuvia is a work in progress and we know we will need a special adopter for this little one. She loves her people (as you can see by how comfortable she is being held like a baby) and she adapts to new situations, but needs some time Her potty skills are a work in progress, but she is working with a trainer to keep improving those skills. Pina is a 1 year old female. She weighs 13 pounds. Pina is good with other dogs. She came from a hoarder house and is a weirdo. She’s not at all aggressive, but the inbreeding that happened in that house was hard on her. She likes to be pet, but gets scared of hands sometimes. Her eyes are structurally not correct and she’s been like that since birth. She can see, but mostly shadows and light and dark. She is crate trained and likes to know how things go, a strict schedule isn’t necessary, but her place to eat and sleep should be consistent. Sometimes she runs in circles, but she isn’t bothered by it She will need a patient family, but she is well worth it!
