Story
MEET  VOOPER !!! Meet Vooper, a lively 17-month-old Brindle Dutch Shepherd who is eagerly searching for his forever home! Vooper is a playful and friendly pup ready to bring joy and excitement to your life. He loves the great outdoors and going on walks, runs, playing soccer, and engaging in a spirited game of tug of war are some of his favorite activities. However, nothing beats the thrill of visiting the dog park, where he can make new friends to play with.  Vooper will need a home with a yard and owners who can give him plenty of affection and opportunities to play. He behaves well on walks and playing with other dogs, with experience, he could also be a good companion on hikes and even hunting. More about Vooper: - Fully potty trained and knows how to ask politely to go in and out, not afraid of loud noises, has been through discipline training and knows the following commands: Sit, Focus, Stay, Leave it, Drop It/ Let go, Come here, Touch, And more , He is kennel trained and understands the command go to kennel (but he would rather snuggle up with you), He is nonaggressive and has gotten along with everyone (men and women) he has come in contact with. He gets along with other dogs , He gets along with children 10+ years old. Things to consider: He can still be mouthy when he is excited, he likes to jump up on people and furniture. He knows it's frowned upon but still needs more training in this area. He has not lived with cats before and his reaction is unknown , He has not lived with young children (under 10 yrs old) before and his reaction is unknown.  If you're ready to add a new member to your family. Come meet him and see if you can be the one to give him the loving forever home he deserves!  If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com   May 7, 2024, 4:17 pm

Hey there, I'm Balto!Looking for an active puppy to do everything with from playing with toys, going on runs, and adventures? Then I may be the one for you! I'm an energetic pup, so like any other adolescent, I will require lots of training, exercise, and mental stimulation to help me grow up into the best adult dog ever! I'm very smart and eager to learn anything you will teach me! I would prefer my new home to be with adults only! I really enjoy playing with other dogs who can match my energy, but I'll need to meet any potential furry siblings to make sure we are a good match. I can't wait! Come meet me today!**Thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation, from May 1st through May 15th, you can take me home for FREE!**No appointment necessary!Meet me at AAWL's Main Shelter!25 N. 40th StPhoenix AZ 85034602-273-6852Adoption Hours:Monday - ClosedTuesday - Friday & Sunday - 11:30am - 6:00pmSaturday - 10:30am - 6:00pm.AAWL requires that all adopted dogs leave with a leash and collar and all cats leave in a carrier.

Story
I had adopted her from Pinal county animal control when I was living in my apartment. Unfortunately I had to move and I can’t keep her, she is a very good takes some time for her to get comfortable. She likes other dogs but she has to be introduced. I would prefer her to be an only dog to get the attention she needs for how old she is.

Story
Stella does good when she’s outside and inside. She loves to be in the sun. When she’s inside she loves to be in a cozy spot. She unfortunately doesn’t do well with other dogs. Stella is very teachable and already knows some great behaviors. Once she’s comfortable with the area she’s at she does great going out and doesn’t run away. She knows the basics like: sit, lay down, “give me your paw”, and no. When she’s not listening she’s is responsive when you snap your fingers and say “hey” firmly while pointing down next to you. That is a way of reprimanding her and she’s is very responsive to that sound. She will come to you and sit or lay down. She learned this behavior because she use to and some times still does come around the dinner table. If she is reprimanded with that action she listens very well. She loves the holidays, car rides, popsicles, and snuggles. Stella is amazing with kids and people with special needs. She is very smart and teachable. She is the biggest sweetheart.
