Story
MEET  VOOPER !!! Meet Vooper, a lively 17-month-old Brindle Dutch Shepherd who is eagerly searching for his forever home! Vooper is a playful and friendly pup ready to bring joy and excitement to your life. He loves the great outdoors and going on walks, runs, playing soccer, and engaging in a spirited game of tug of war are some of his favorite activities. However, nothing beats the thrill of visiting the dog park, where he can make new friends to play with.  Vooper will need a home with a yard and owners who can give him plenty of affection and opportunities to play. He behaves well on walks and playing with other dogs, with experience, he could also be a good companion on hikes and even hunting. More about Vooper: - Fully potty trained and knows how to ask politely to go in and out, not afraid of loud noises, has been through discipline training and knows the following commands: Sit, Focus, Stay, Leave it, Drop It/ Let go, Come here, Touch, And more , He is kennel trained and understands the command go to kennel (but he would rather snuggle up with you), He is nonaggressive and has gotten along with everyone (men and women) he has come in contact with. He gets along with other dogs , He gets along with children 10+ years old. Things to consider: He can still be mouthy when he is excited, he likes to jump up on people and furniture. He knows it's frowned upon but still needs more training in this area. He has not lived with cats before and his reaction is unknown , He has not lived with young children (under 10 yrs old) before and his reaction is unknown.  If you're ready to add a new member to your family. Come meet him and see if you can be the one to give him the loving forever home he deserves!  If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com   April 25, 2024, 9:09 pm

Story
She's a great dog. Super friendly and playful but my older male cat doesn't like her and it's become a safety concern for them both. She is amazing with my kids and my other German shepherd (5 yr old male) was great with her as a puppy but has gotten very food/toy/attention aggressive as she has gotten older. I just want her to go to a good family

Story
Gilly is finally ready for her new home! She is a little strong willed but she is very smart. She was picked up as a stray so we don't have any background information on her. She is probably around 3 to 4 years old. She likes to be the boss of the other dogs so she would do best if we found her a home where she is the only dog or with a submissive male. She has been very playful with the boys we have had her with but rough so she might be too much for smaller dogs. She would do best with an owner who has experience with big dogs and some training. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question please ask in the e-mail.   All dog are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Story
Harold is an 8-year-old shepherd mix who had been previously adopted from us. Unfortunately, he was turned into the pound after his owner had to move into assisted living. Because our name was still on his microchip, the pound was able to contact us so we could pull him and get him back and find him his new forever home. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt.
